@scrreech
the program name as Document To GO. Most new palm pda will include this as a freeware in the cd-rom.
As a design student, I hook heavily with my powerfull 2.53 ghz desktop + broadband. So laptop should be useless for me. Altough I consider palm m105 as bulky but I did take it along with me everyday for more then 1 and half year. It's too useful for me to record short notes or some reminder. It also recorded all of my friends contact and my timetable. Now I can handle my time more efficiency. |

There's a hig possibility that the T300 is out in SG!!! Cost abt SGD$498 for a 2-year contract with Singtel. Damn! Too expensive... The specs seem ok except that it doesnt have bluetooth But the great side is that the price includes the MCA 25!!! Shld I get it??? Sell my T68 & buy that??? Or do I wait for P800??? |

gilthoniel: The McFile is great... I was able to backup all my picts, MMS & ringtones there. BUT the downside is that can only use for 30 days!!! And... as dumb as I may sound... I still dunno how to use the ZboxZ I did 'box' my .gif files into a .pdb but (1) I was unable to see the picts & (2) I am unable to beam the picts to my T68 from my PDA... Pls enlighten me~
yapliren: If I do want to sell my T68, it will probably worth abt SGD$380 the most... But I'm still thinking if I shld sell it or not. I think that it's the ultimate phone ard! No doubt abt that! Why do u want to go back to 8250???
veon: I do use infrared from PDA to T68 but I use bluetooth to transfer stuff (calender etc...) to my bf's T68. I have another T39 which I refuse to sell away.. and that lil phone has got bluetooth too! It's such a pity that the T300 doesnt have Without plan, it's selling for SGD$648. All bundled with the MCA25. Good buy eh? But I dunno what's stopping me. There's a high possibility that M'sia will also introduce the T300 with MCA25. I think w/out the MCA, the mobile is much cheaper!
sanjeev: U really like the T300 rite? Don;t u think it's too 'squarish' like the T600? By the way, has the T600 been out yet here? |

veon : Oh IMU also cool! May i ask wat programs you use to help you wif your uni work? Like take notes? Stuff like dat? Don't worry it's changed to Pdb so that u can sync it. All you have to do is point and beam the stuff from your palm into your phone. Remember to switch on your IR... =)
scrreech : the software is shareware... guess u have to register it unless u can find a hacked version. Anyway, why can't u beam the stuff into your phone? Just click on the file, click on send (or beam) and just beam away =) if u still can't then do tell me the steps you took, and i'll see wat went wrong. Yes you can't see the pics with ZboxZ, that's the bad thing about this program. But heck, you can see it in your phone =) |

hi veon so youre in IMU bukit jalil? which year are you in? Im from IMU seremban doing my last year. oh well I guess different people have different views on using their PDA's cause palm os's are not sufficient for holding programs for drug libraries and such its actually up to an individual whether they would choose a palm os or pocket pc's. Ive been using a palm for 7 years till i switched to pocket pc's which helped me even more and theres no problem with the size considering that it's alot more useful than a mere organiser. |

gil: often i use the word to go for typing my reports and stuffs and also for PBL usage,sometimes i even draw diagrams on the memo pad so that i can refer it later during PBL and draw it on the board
For hospital visit, i often use one of preset word doc. which i had set systematically so that i can input the data into my palm systematically when i clerk the patient, and oo...it's darn nice and so much in order, but in the end u still have to memorize everything so u dun leave it out during OSCE exams
yo..today i just visited megamall today and tried out the P800 prototype,the phone was darn cool and i was playing with it for almost half an hour, there's no stylus provided from him so i had to use my finger nails instead. The specs are great , but the quality of the pictures taken by the integrated digicam was not up to the mark (even for a 640 x 480 quality pic) and can be seen rather pixelate than smooth image on the P800 screen itself,so the digicam does not amused me much. Also i kept bragging about the use of the duo memory stick slot to the person in charge....hehe....but he did entertain me, quite a humorous guy! SE should have incorporate a normal sony memory stick instead of the duo so that the memory stick can be used conjunction with the previously released sony devices..such a letdown, now we have to buy a special duo stick just for the P800
But what did really surprised me was the information given by the person in charge of the roadshow...he said the P800 wont exceed RM3000, maybe around RM2699 and it will be released near X'mas this year (contrast to the info which most ppl had confirmed the release is postphoned to the Q1 of 2003)....i dunno how true is this :> |
