According to anlog, there is a Fighter programmer working on the Bluetooth issues. It hasn't gone dead, but if these problems are not ironed out most people won't be updating their phones.

I require Bluetooth, so this applies to me. I would LOVE to upgrade the software, but if it will break BT I refuse to do it. I ahte the Jabra headsets, and it seems these are the only BT headsets compatible with the prototype P910 firmware.

I am looking into a Bluetrek G2, which I hear has great battery life. I will be selling a HBH-65 to get it if anyone is interested.
For sale: Near-mint M600i (white), PM me if interested

the conversion has not got cold. the programmer just needs some copies of files from new p910 as apperantly the one he took the original image from had the same bluetooth hardware as the p900.

DUO PRO support would be great for the P900 but 2nd best benefit (if not the best) is the extra RAM which is impossible with the conversion.

The P900 had at best 6.5MB of free RAM on boot-up which is a big limitation for the Opera browser and you got into habit of closing programmes down. The P910 has about 22MB from on boot-up. I have had everything running at the same time with still over 14MB free and no issues at all! You can forget about closing programmes down with a P910 which makes everything seem more "instant" because the programmes are already running.

I got my P910 for £160 with my contract renewal & sold my P900 for £200! (I actually only paid £149.99 for the P900 last year when you could get away with getting it on high tariff & dropping down within the first month so virtually had P900 free )

The signal reception is also much better with the P910 for some reason where I live. The P900 used to show Orange bars & sometimes nearly no bars but the P910 always shows nearly full green signal strength using same SIM in same locations!!

Simple question,

Even with a 256MB card, does the battery of the P900 last that long, assuming I am trying to listen to every song on the card?. I am not sure about this. Ofcourse I do agree more memory means more choice though. I have seen the battery go down abt 10% every 30minutes.

That's good that the Bluetooth works as I'm not bothered about headsets either but file transfer is a must.

Have we got an official name yet for a upgraded P900?
How about P905?

I think that the full screen video playback is better on the P905 than the old p900.
