The keypad lights varies for different batches of T68, the very 1st batch has very dim keypad lights which can only be seen in low light conditions. The later batches all have bright keypad lights which can even be seen under well-lit places. Mine was the 1st batch and I discovered this when I compared with my friend's recently bought T68 and found the keypads difference, that's when I brought it in to SESC and they told me this and according to them there's no way to upgrade the lights. |

To think of it, if every T68 owners had upgraded their sw to MMS and works like a T68i, will this forum be still as active as now? |

sorry but i have not been logging on for a long time. yep, the lock is not toally joined or closed and the no. 5 besides it means you have 5 chances to key in the correct lock code. don't key in anything or you may accidentally lock it.
the blue velvet bag is nothing special as what the others have said. |

i personally think SE is really unreasonable.... once i went down .. i fella brought his t68m for service .. told them the release clip with hold the batt came off and ask them to fix it back for him and they wanted to charge that poor fella 15 bucks.... the guy said it came off when he took out the batt .... and they told him the warranty does not cover that kinda damage ..... i think if ur vol slide comes out ... they might also ask you to pay .. to get it fixed......what do you think ... ?? |

In actual fact Warranty is to cover all manufacturing defaults within a certain period set by the manufacturer. Whether it is a screw lose or a whole handphone mulfunction, the service centre has the obligation to rectify it. Unless it is due to misappropriate handling. If I were that guy, I will ask to talk to the technical manager. Probably he will know how to handle this type of complaint. |
