@luwi,
How is the battery holding for you? I used it before the x pro update came out, so there was no one sided keyboard and quite difficult for one handed use. Do you find it practical on a daily basis?

Normal usage, my battery last for more than one day. While, mini keyboard helps me texting more faster using one hand.

Quite interesting that this girl self-proclaimed expert from a tech site, trash GSMArena for doing their comparison in their way when pictures in here clearly show the Xperia Z Ultra superiority in image quality.

Finally Upgraded to the .510 major update:
Features:
1) Awesomely slick phone
2) X-reality display
3) Revamped Menu Icons
4) Left hand menu bar can be swiped in from the menu
5) Contacts search right hand bar is animated
6) International Mini Keyboard
While the Screen with the Bravia Engine was stunningly good... The X-reality has definitely made a difference.
The same videos and photos have a great finished richer look... almost 3D, but more real... Hard to describe..
Unfortunately cant do a before and after comparison as I have already updated... But wow... the videos look so much more better.
The battery life on the Z Ultra has gotten better... After a day of decently heavy use... I still have 20-30% battery comfortably left over.
I am loving this phone... Its a beast.. had it since a month now and it's the perfect size for me... typing, texting, interaction with the phone is a breeze with the ample screen real estate. Apps also look great on it.
Now when I handle my wife's Xperia S, it feels so puny and difficult to operate... The Xperia S feels so cheap and plasticky. The build on the Xperia Z ultra is something else..

I have to defend Erica.
If you had watched her videos about Z Ultra and Triluminos screen tech you'd know that she loves the screen and that she is truly impressed with the picture quality, what she says is that it has very strange calibration and that at full brightness in dark room it shows poor blacks but that one is actually typical for all TFT screens. I recommend that you watch her video about triluminos technology it is very informative. Watch her videos about Z Ultra and you'll see that she loves the device.
So you shouldn't offend her because she is critical but not in mean way or anything. And just so you know, she has a boyfriend

One more thing, she is going to redo her research once she gets x-reality engine update, just to see what will be the difference.
And why she trashed GSMArena? Well because they check only contrast and not screen calibration or color temperature.

She's a great reviewer but tends to be very arrogant and off-ish when questioned, at least thats what I saw at XDA when she was questioned about her opinions on the Z Ultra display.
Personally cant stand listening to her mono tone voice and seeing those awful nails of hers when handling a device, so I stay away from most of her videos, prefer Phonedog, Aaron does a good job, but as I said, Erica, great reviewer and full knowledge, true female tech lover right there, it's scary just how in-depth she can go.
