Yesterday it happened to me too for the first time. In the evening it was 83% and in the morning it was still 83% and the charge LED was still orange. However, after a couple of hours or so all of a sudden it showed correctly again (in my case 99%). Seems the charging as such works, it's just the presentation of it that seems a tad flaky from time to time.

Sony seems to solves a lot of hanging\\restarting problems since Xperia X10.
Yet it might be Android who solved the problems.

I'm not sure. But there are certain bugs that really bugging me.
Sony should be more careful.

Charging bug seems to be common. Mine gets stuck sometimes, when you restart, it shows a full charge.

Or times when it shows a full charge when the phone is on.. but when you shut it off, it still charges for about 30 min more and lasts longer over-all.

Got the Xperia P perfect condition all working well,and the earpice is dead no sound :'( gotta send it back and I won't get replacement till fecking Thursday phone was perfect and came with latest ICS firmware too just no sound in calls but speaker worked
