Hi,
am new to this forum, have just got the sony c902, and need some help if theres any out there?

1. Is it possible to remove the operators logo, if so how??

2. Can the softkey shortcuts be changed, if so how??

3. Can picutres that are protected be deleted??

4. Is it possible to safe photos in an album, hidden, so only i can see them. They all seem to appear in the media application.

5. Can folders be created to store text messages in from different people and also hidden??

Love to hear any ideas to the above.

thanks in advance,
james

There does not appear to a red eye reduction function on photo fix or on edit with photodj.
The flash is poor for taking night shots with obects in close range and in the distance.
I am unimpressed!!!

Had my first actual crash yesterday.
Screen went really fuzzy like interferance, phone didn't reboot automatically.

Did work fine after I removed the battery and powered on again though.

Can someone confirm if it has a 3.5mm jack on the handsfree like on walkman phones. I am getting the red one.

I fixed my music stuttering / intermittent pauses. I just used the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) from their website. I didn’t update my version as I am up to date but it did give me the option to overwrite the existing firmware with a fresh install. Backed up all my data, removed my memory card (heard that is best) and flashed it again. After that no more problems with system pauses causing music or video to pause briefly. I advise you try it if you have any strange issues other than the standard design flaws.

Also a great video converter I use to get all my AVIs and WMVs etc to 320x240/320x176(16:9) MP4 is SUPER © Video Converter. Completely freeware and very good.

My C902's bluetooth went down after 1 week. When the bluetooth hardware was replaced (took 2 weeks to repair), I went to the shop to pick up my phone. Then it won't open, no power! They had to bring it back to the main office to have the motherboard checked. If still down, they'll replace it but usually takes 2-3 weeks for replacements depending on availability of the model... gggrrr!!!

My C902's bluetooth has already been fixed. When I got home & took out the battery to change my sim card, it won't turn on. I had to shake it then it turned on. But if I switch it on & off without taking out the battery, it seems fine. But then when my wife was playing one of the games of the phone, it suddenly turned off. It working ok now but I don't know til when. Do you think it's a hardware (maybe contact - gold thingy - problem of phone or battery?) or firmware problem? I'm going to have it checked again. But your insights would definitely help. Thanks.

Also, sometimes I have to re-insert the M2 coz the phone is unable to read the files inside the M2. I've already changed the M2 twice and problem still the same.

The restart bug is a firmware issue. It is present on all A200 platform phones and has been talked about to great length on this forum and also in this thread.
Have a read
