Might sound like a silly question, but well.....
my w910 is running on r1ca039, ive had it about a month and the only problem i have is the slowdown in the music menu.
my question is if i upgrade to the latest firmware and i start gettin all these others probs will i be able to down grade back to r1c?
i will only be using seus as i dont trust davinci etc.

No, downgrade is not possible with official tools like SEUS. |

Wow!! What a pathetic service by SE service centre in my city..
I had R1EA030 and thought of upgrading to latest one. I visit the service centre and ask them to do it. When i get my phone back after an hour, and i look for firmware version, it shows me R1CA039. Amazing! I tried explaining that bastard what exactly he has done. But no use..

Davinci doesnt load up the latest FW to debrand, is it normal??
and also which one should i choose to debrand to Generic for UK?
(i tick generic, nothing comes up in the client)

well, I debranded to Cust UK to 030 FW via davinci
and updated via seus to the 33 FW...no problems at all..

That's odd.
Maybe it wasn't meant to be on there yet and it's been removed, certainly makes the phone a bit more useable |

im currently on FW R1DA038 on orange , that was the last update I got from SEUS , im happy enough apart from losing the big clock and crackly mega bass, I should have stayed with the original FW 029- no real probs there apart from one restart
tried twice today on SEUS and no luck |

it would be awesome, if they made an update which included all changes made for W760i, like a TV option in the media menu and the possibility to choose between grid, single icon, circle and theme desktop view ! !

it would be even more awesome if they released a firmware which fixed all the faults , I wondered why the guy from carphone warehouse was so keen to get me to take this phone on as my upgrade , he really made it sound so amazing |

Just got my w910i today, It's completely unlocked and debranded and according to the service menu it's running R1CA029 firmware. That's not the latest firmware is it?
I tried to update via SEUS this afternoon and it says it's got the latest firmware already.
Any advice on how I can get the latest update on there? |

How you think, sony ericsson can add new function in new firmware for W910i.
For example new equalizer presets like in W980i or W760i - this is function - "walkman on top 8 visual audio presets"??? |
