I have also read that the W960i is going to be released on 18th of October in Sweden, and I ahev also heard week 49.
But I think it will be out 18th of October  . and I hope so. |

I personally can't wait to own one. Though it doesn't have any great advancement in terms of technology and software, I felt this phone is still a must have for all gadget lovers. |

Yes! The memory in the W960 will behave just like a memory from any other phone. Im using my memory to transfer all kinds of things.

my mate was telling me this morning on the way to work that he asked how much it would cost to upgrade from w950 and was told about £100 and then he was told that he could do this oct28th! not long to wait if this is true  |

he was actually told that if he waits till december, not sure when in december that it would only cost about £20! part of me wishes that I'd got a contract phone many yrs ago lol but i think I'll stick with my sim free at the moment
Can anyone confirm the date of release though? would much prefer it to be the week before in october cause I'm not at work and could spend that week playin with my new greeat phone  hehe |

i love everything about his phone, except the camera pictures, which are pretty bad, compared to my w900i, 1 more question, the video taken by the phone, is encoded using 3gp or mp4? thanks. |

The camera pictures aren't all that bad for a 3.2mp!!
I actually think its fine.

sorry pk, i asked u a lot of things and i'm sorry... is it possible to receive some answers (if u have time)?
i think it could be usefull to watch a video where there are basic functions done with the fingers.
i try to explain:
_block/unblock the screen with bottom-left + other switch
_set the phone in silence mode (bottom-right swtch)
_write an sms
_answer a call
_call a friend (his number is in the rubrica)
_receive a message and reply to it...
is it possible not to have the walkman app always on the center of the screen?
what about the menu icons on the bottom-left of the screen?
