Just debranding my T-Mob K810i now - chose 'CENT_EUROPE (CDA102568/2)'.
Can anyone post what version CDA they have (along with the network they have)?
Unless me eyes decieved my, my sister's handset (upgrade on O2 from CPW) was a CDA xxxxxx/33 - Wotan lists O2 CDA as CDAxxxxxx/32 though?

Guys, when I converted my K800 to K810 the other day, before I reverted it back, I noticed that the EROM of my phone remained the same as K800. That was EROM R3A016 and sort of SIBLEY FLAFLA WILMA..bla..bla..in this case, why didn't this part said, e.g, SIBLEY FLAFLA SAMANTHA..bla..bla..as the code of the phone is SAMANTHA? Can you please post the detailed Firmware Info here so that I can see the difference between the genuine K810i firmware and K800-to-K810 one..Thanks a lot. |

be carefully, know one guy cople a days ago who messed up his k800 when he flashed k810 software into the phone.
i spooked with SE support before k810 came out, they told me that you couldnt flash a k800 to a k810 ! (also the warranty disappear, but that you know of course)

I have flashed my K800i four times to K810i via Wotan Server, from R1KC001, R1KD002, R1KF001 and R1KG001 just to test the backlit phenomenon. No, problem. My phone is back to K800i perfectly. Anyway, how about the EROM info I request? Please, post the info. Does it say SIBLEY SEMCUSB FLAFLA WILMA or SIBLEY SEMCUSB FLAFLA SAMANTHA? Thanks again.

When I flashed my K810i to generic europe 2 instead of Orange firmware, in the EROM section it gives me
EROM R3A022 HB106GENERIC FOTA SIMLOCK FLAFLA SIBLEY SEMCUSB
Yet my K800 gives WILMA FOTA SIMLOCK FLAFLA SIBLEY SEMCUSB
No mention of SAMANTHA at all. Never checked before I flashed it, so have no idea if it had SAMANTHA before the flash or not. All my other phones have their respective code names, just not my K810i, could this be because it was done through wotan.

Seems strange that there is no mention of samantha in these then, as all the others seems to have their code names. Will check my K750i and T68 and see if there is any mention in them.

Aha, that's it. Thanks guys. It may explain the backlit problem in all K800i flashed with K810i firmware. The EROM is different between the two phones. R3A016 and R3A022. Also the new HB106 string. |

No, this is not it. My most recent K800, right before my K810, was manufacrured in April 2007 and it came with EROM 22.

Hi all,
OK just need to check a couple of things before ordering one, firstly if i get one on a 02 contract it is unlocked? i won't need to debrand it? and does the phone come with a memory card from 02 ?
Also does anyone know of a better deal than £20pm on a 12 month contract with free phone and delivery your assistance answering these points will be appreciated.
Marc

O2 contract phones are unlocked but have some minimal branding so remember that you'll only beable to SEUS it when O2 release new firmware unless you debrand to generic
I got my K810 last week from dial-a-phone on an o2 £30/month for 12 months with £160 cashback. When you add that to the £60 I get back by using quidco the sum total cost is £140 and the phone was also totally generic
unfortunately they don't have that particular deal right now, but they come and go quickly so keep on eye on there if you are in no rush.
...and yes, I've used their cashback before without issue. They are very quick at sending your cashback to you once claimed

Hi Masseur,
It's OK i know the guy that set up Dial A phone and he knows my dogs too so doubt they would try and knock me. Me and a Dobermann in an open plan office is a nightmare trust me I've had to do it once before to get paid wages. Actually that's not quite true it was a nightmare for them great fun for me and the Dobe. LOL.
Also i would of thought Firmware wouldn't be much of an issue by this stage of the K800 development and i can always change the CDA and flash it. Out of interest will this run on a Vista machine or do i have to wait for June 22nd and the new PC Suite? and no i will not edit anything for a workaround either after all it's only a camera phone and for calls so not really vital IMO. I don't have quidco or what ever and that is direct with 02 online so i reckon £20 a month with no interest is a pretty sweet deal plus of course the free minutes to use.
Marc

Why does my phone keep asking me to register it with SE after I have done the wotan de-branding thing.
