This is why im thinking of getting me a n73, or even a D900, SE joysticks are just horrible. I'm using a k750 at the moment, and the joystick and connector have really bad build quality. |

1. the n73 and the k800i can play video's @ 25fps, but you can encode video's to higher quality than the k800i. (though converted films on the k800i can be superb..).
2.you don't NEED any app's..it is a mobile phone. but because of the os, you can add many apps now..there are quite a few apps available, not too mention some excellent games...DOOM and QUAKE, some games are as large as 16mb.
3. both are pretty stable. i upgraded my k800i firmware before the joystick broke, and ive recently done the n73's firmware, and have no rpoblems with it.
4. hardware wise, its the n73, simply because it has its own os (operating system) and is built for adding applications.
hope this helps you make your choice...btw, the k800i is an excellent choice, so whichever you decide to go for, res assured, both are excellent devices. |

obviously watching video on N73 screen is better (as it is 40% bigger than K800). N73 supports more playback format like divx. And N73 speakers play stereo sound (if u r not using headset). |

lol... apparently N73 does not support 320X240 video playback.. is that true? if that's true, i wouldn't bother even if it supports divx. What's more important is the res and fps, not really on the type, since they can be converted anyway---of course what i mean here is not 3GP type lar.. at least MPEG4 is good enough (except those who do not have converter). Oh, and with K800, you can use Logitech THX speaker as a speaker instead of the crappy little speakers embedded in the phone (and of course it is alot better than the stereo speakers on N73 as well)--in case you do not want to listen through earphone, you can listen to K800 with THX quality!!!

In the end, it doesn't matter.
Both phones will be obsolete by this time next year.

The N73 CAN play QVGA clips easily, supports more formats (DivX/Xvid for example) and has stereo speakers embedded into the phone (in the right position to watch a movie in landscape orientation). And its screen is MUCH bigger than the K800's. I really ask myself how anybody can overall say that the K800 is better for watching movies... |

then i will change my phone again.from what i get from above views that k790i with its slightly smaller screen plays videos better than N73.size will not matter if the video will be pixelated or will stutter.that means k790i comes out on top in this aspect.correct me if i am wrong. |

mobile phone reviews only gave the n73 3 stars and said this:
"As always with Series 60 phones, the complexity of the software means that they are usually slow to start, slow when browsing menus, and can be prone to crash. Read through our user reviews below and you will see that the number one complaint about the N73 is the problem of the phone freezing or shutting down, often when receiving a call. This is quite a common complaint in fact, and for this reason we have deducted two stars from our overall rating. A phone that doesn't work is not acceptable, however good it may be when it actually works! You might consider the Sony Ericsson K800i as an alternative, although it's not a Symbian phone."
