the .aec files seem to just keep a status setting of the phone when it rings and so on. I don't think there is any reason to delete any of them as they recreated themselves later on. |

kewl.. now i understand all that...
one other thing.. have you guys noticed that the volume of the FM radio is kinda louder.. i mean pretty much louder than the MP... can we make some arrangements on that part? yah know.. adapt the FM radio volume to MP.
tho the FM radio when full volume distorts horribly.. but then again its loud. 100% MP volume is like 60-70% FM volume...

yeah mongoose3800, but i think its safely when *.aec is recreated after replacement (maybe... some info in *.aec depends on info in *.apf). only my opinion, i am newbie, you have better skill...

You can safely delete them (*.aec). I have in the past and they have recreated.
Your driver has targetted the same area for volume as in the drivers for the Headphone and speaker driver. Good work on finding, testing and distributing the file for ear speaker volume. |

Do you have a clue what the handset...1 that it's there is for? There are a lot of files that probably affect different volumes / qualities...

I'm about to die...
Installed the modded one and no voice came from the earspeaker...
Wow... went back to the original; now it works again...
Why didn't it work in my w800?!!?!

Both the handset_0_call.apf and handset_1_call.apf have the same code repeated in two files. I have been tweaking with these files for some time now but the quality of the sound amplified such that it distorts if tweaked. I'm still trying to figure out a perfect balance. |

Any ideas why may I've got a non working phone after trying that mod? As I said,... I got a perfect SILENCE when making a call through the earspeaker, while I could hear it if I derived it to the loudspeaker...  |
