and hopefully my final post today
phoned customer service rather than the returns people and was told, no there is no order for me
nothing will be coming today due to stock issues. This depsite now 5 phonecalls guaranteeing me the phone today.
I have been told it will come tomorrow
Believe it when i see it.
Anyone who has O2s head office number for a formal complaint i will be happy , Might get some freebies out of this shocking service.

@skyblumatt

Tell them that you had to book the day off work to wait for your delivery and that you had to cancel with 3 clients that potentially could have made you millions!!

I wouldnt look too far into what it says on the website. If they have taken the order id give them a day then expect it, this is exactly what happened for the last few years. i remember having more of a hassle with my k750, that were a nightmare!

Just got mine from CPW, oh baby, it's sweet. Nice big screen and feels really solid. Update over air for the firmware/software as well, I'm sure that will be fairly cool.

I got a LG Chocolate on upgrade, while it's quite sexy, it's not as good as this. All I need now is friends with 3G phones for some video calls!

Anyone know if I need a new SIM for 3G stuff or will it just work?

Is your phone SIMFREE... or does it have o2 branding onit???

To get use out of the 3G features then you will have to get a 3G sim

Cheers

Everything you need, dont ring them, they'll fob you off however by law if you write a letter then must respond within 28 days...

Letters work, I'm still spending tesco vouchers from a complaint I made against them in march lol

@brady, Are you sure you ordered one? I'm not been funny, but you sure who ever you spoke to at O2 actualy put the order on? Have you had confirmation in any way? I would call them and check, as if this is an upgrade order you should be able to view it's details online.

Just phoned O2, they said my order has definetly gone through, they gave me my GM order no. again, and said order status was at the 'fulfilment stage' whatever that means. When i asked her about me not having an 'order status' online, she said it was because i'm not an O2 online customer. I did get my last O2 phone from phones4u. She said it was unlikely that i'd get the phone tomorrow but i should be be-able to get a consignment number for DHL tomorrow. Thats cheered me up a bit, thought they hadn't put it through.

o2 branded unfortunately, though I'm already with o2 and I'm not planning on moving. I was very lucky that I got it, took the guy at CPW around 20 minutes of computer twiddling to get it booked to me, even though I had already pre-ordered a few days beforehand. Just shows you gotta be patient and persistent.

The RSS reader feature is brilliant.

Guess I can do without 3G stuff for now!

i'm giving up trying to get one from o2, until they or the link have them in their retail stores..

means i can just go out, and get my grubby hands on one when i want.....

i'm bored of this... i wanted it today, cos i've had all day off..
i think i'll just sit on theme creator and create a nice theme for my phone ready for when i get it..
