this is rediculous!

people are dieing becuase of the way thousands have reacted to this cartoon.

and it bothers me that people on this forum are trying to justify this mindless violence and protest.

Actually I might start hating the danes for the viking raids all those years ago. Or maybe the French for the Norman conquests? Tell ya what I'll just hate everyone that isnt me than claim racism against the whole world if anyone complains.

Maybe ill go blow up the houses of parliaments cus an englishman once stood on my toe. Or maybe ill go punch god for making it rain?

My first child a girl entered the world last night at 8 minutes past midnight. I wonder what sort of a world she has entered when i read people trying to justify violence and killing of people just because someone in there country put an insensitive cartoon in a paper. If people cant see that the reaction is totally inappropriate then we may as well end the world now as there is very little hope

Congrats, Slat! I think "Absinthe" is a nice name for a girl (just in case you were short of suggestions). [addsig]

I don't think their is....Its quite clear we not going to agree on anything with each other so we might aswell call it a day here don't you think?

The most positive thing we've had is news of slatterys new born baby!....its news like that which makes you think about the world we are living in today and our childrens future!

Nice one Slattery

It does though make you think what kind of world you're bringing kids into, and what the world will be like for them

I've missed the last few posts as was at work (and will take ages to read through, might do when I have a little more time!) but I hope everyone's come to some sort of agreement without flaming
