view the contact you want to send, press options (or something similar) find SEND, then choose Bluetooth...
your phone should scan for available devices...
if you pick up devices on the scan, select one, and pray to the spirits of bluejacking-ness....

Has anybody here tried out this software?
It's called Bloover, not sure exactly what it does, there's a description of it and download here
Bloover
I can't get it to install properly on my ngageQD, it's a java
program that says it should run on UIQ and Symbian..
(and other devices that have j2me with access to bluetooth)
If you get it going, pm me! |

I installed this Xblue, and yesterday on my way to school it discovered 4 bt devices, as I could see from the log. But no bj done. Then I tryed to bj my friends t68i, saddly it asked for pairing. Strange, isnt it? Manual contact sending worked just fine. @stirlo Bloover is next on my list. ;-)

It's not the final version, and not great for actual bluejacking.... what i use it for, is when i hear the "alarm" that a new device is found, and it happens to be a 6310i or SE phone, pause the scanner, open your contacts or file manager and send away!
if you set it to scan constantly, will help you find new 'victims' without having to take your phone out of teh pocket...
if you go to \system\apps\xblue\ there are two files, scanlog.dbf and devices.dbf, open them in Excel or other DB software, and you can build up a log of devices...
at the moment i'm using it to try to solve the "Mikko" mystery, so far i have found 6 "Mikko"'s around SE suburbs of melbourne. |

I told you that Mikko would be a popular name.
Btw, blooover is bluesnarf software thats been made "safe". Basically you can download it and test if your phones are bluesnarf vulnerable.
You cant actually bluejack or bluesnarf anyone with it though, and it wont run on the QD because its a MIDP1 phone, not MIDP2.
I read somewhere recently the K7/S7 both had the necessary JSR 82 API that is so very needed for Java to access Bluetooth. Maybe they were lying ?

Well, atleast Xblue is good for notification about new found bt devices. BlueJackX will be good in v1.0, because bluejacking is going to be fully implemented. We can only wait and see. :) Bloover is supposed to work on 6600, 7610 and UIQ also. Doesnt work on my 3650.

sman 1.4 will be out some time in summer cos there now re'coding program so it will run on motorola pda UIQ's to with no bugs which i think there making one for motorola UIQ's and for sony ericsson P series and sorry to say to p800 owners that there stopped working with p800 coding and using p900/910i codings to take advantage of MIDP2
so on p800 the new 1.4 may have bugs but there advice you to run the 1.2 or 1.3

No
[Here you find the Blooover tool as a .jar file for download. It is supposed to run on every phone that is equipped with a J2ME MIDP 2.0 VM and an implemented JSR-82 API (important for Bluetooth access). As far as I know, the Nokia 6600, Nokia 7610, Sony Ericsson P900, Siemens S65 (and probably al consequent phones of the mentioned manufacturers) do fulfill these requirements.]
Program works only for MIDP 2.0 devices with J2ME.
T610 is MIDP 1.0 and wornt work. |

I'll try it out on my nokia 6230, when i can force myself to move the sim card from the Ngage to the thing. (theres a lot of nes games, megadrive and others on the ngage trying to stop me accomplishing that) |
