Assuming it's not the ISO, the soft difference between 06 and 08 is doing hard work...but it seems like contrast/exposure is increased too.
Can you copy & paste the #NORM_MODE macro from your kop2.7 for me here?
Ok
Did you mean this??
// Normal (non-document) mode settings
NORM_MODE = #COM_EVENT(55,00) // Reset contrast
#COM_EVENT(56,06) // Reset sharpness
#COM_EVENT(06,00) // Reset exposure
#SET_REG(40,07) // AE_XENON_ISO = 400
#SET_REG(43,2A) // CC_R_FLASH = 0x2A (colour temperature of 6800 K for flash)
#SET_REG(44,70); // CC_B_FLASH = 0x70 (colour temperature of 6800 K for flash)

it's possibly the flash shutter speed, or the slow_shutter viewfinder fps
Flash shutter speed is possible but I think it isn't cause in DOC mode pics are good and sharp. Viewfinder fps can't be cuz in flash pics SET37 does the work. I see more contrast and sharpness IMO |

@milan91
That driver does not have anything special, it's basically Wilma 2.5. So I have to ask you something:
1) There was light in the room when you toke that pics? (no totally dark?)
If there was some light, a slower shutter speed could make it blur (diffuse radiation)
2) You were holding the phone on your hand?
If yes, a slower shutter speed could make the pic blur because of hand micro-vibrations in 1/80s
So maybe with 1/250 the pic is static and with 1/80 is a little shaked
These should be the reasons! |

Hi. Just want to add one point.
Original Kopritis 2.7 didn't come with a sharpness of 08. Later many people (including Kopritis) tried and said that sharpness 08 gives good results. I think the discussion about this issue is still in the earlier pages of this thread.
Maybe because of this reason most Kopritis 2.7 circulating around have been modified in this way.

Token with Kopritis 2.7_flash settings 3.7_fix 100 compressions @ Document Mode
I have a question for you. Which I should prefer between Kopritis 2.7 with fixes and Kopritis 3.71? [consider that im thinking that these are the best 2 camdrivers available. correct me if i'm wrong]
Also, συγχαρητίρια Κοπρίτη για την δουλειά σου (; Θα ήμουν χαρούμενος να με βοηθήσεις εσύ ο ίδιος για την επιλογή μου!:D
And at last but not least. What is the best sharpness setting? The best-giving-result i mean. 4? 5? 6?
Thnx for your help in advance (:
Keep the 2.7 with shrp 06... also make the compression 95%

is not only that look carefully the driver...
maybe did you not see the:
#SET_REG(19,50) // JPEG_INIT_QUALITY = 0x4B = 75d
#SET_REG(20,5a) // JPEG_BURST_QUALITY = 0x50 = 80d => 700kB images -
And the orginal of my 2.7mod is with shrp 06

That does nothing on image quality ... the slight JPEG compression changes that we made are not obsevable by human eye, and ...
- JPEG_INIT_QUALITY does nothing if you don't change property5
- JPEG_BURST_QUALITY is used for BestPic only
