rog, do you know if it has MirrorLink?
Aside from the microSD card slot, that's a very highly anticipated feature for me. |

Definitely. There is no way the mint is ugly, the Arc and XS also looked "ugly" to some people during early prototype stage leaks but now we all know Arc/XS designs are just brilliant and everyone agrees.
And yes those Xperia C,Z E rumors are FAKE. So please don't get your hopes up based on those rumors. There are no such phones slated to launch this year.
And also someone mentioned if Sony japan has been developing handsets secretly, there isn't anything like that. There wasn't/isn't "Sony Electronics" phone to be launched anytime in the near future.
We need to keep our hopes a little low for this year and the first half of next year. True fireworks will begin only in H2 2013.

Before everyone starts screaming ugly remember when Mobile Review previewed Xperia Arc. I remember we all thought it was fugly as hell and we started complaining how x10 was sooo much better looking. Arc is imo one of the best S(E) designs ever made and a lot of people agree with me.
Mobile review has a way of taking photos that make phones look like shit, Ill wait until we see some offiicial photos before I comment on the design
+1000
Agree with you Same scene with ARC when it was Leaked.
SONY has never let down in Design so Shutup ppl ,Wait for official Launch.
There is No End to this Far cry, its Either SPEC or Design.
When the official launch is done then people will start with SPEC is so 2010 etc etc.
Growup or Move ON

Thanks for the info randomuser.
So what do you guys make of the article mentioning white magic displays? Any chance this has it? If so then Sony has overcome the size limit they were running into earlier this year |

I'm just posting what I saw on it168. Sounds too good to be true: Walkman (I wish!), Xenon flash, OLED screens....
Xperia Z: 4,6 HD oLED + 2GB RAM Walkman + CYBER-SHOT + PLAYSTATION
Xperia C: 4,3 HD OLED screen + Xenon Flash
Xperia E: 4 qHD OLED Walkman Phone
Xperia 3,7 LCD - qwerty slider -
D & x v + D: B
Xperia Z and X will run on Qualcomm S4 (not Pro) and both will be Cybershot branded.
E and Y will have ST-Ericsson dual Core CPU.
XPERIA Z (part of the second-generation NXT series Z, C, E, Y) will be powered by Qualcomm-S4 Snapdragon chip, the OLED display of the walkman player and Cyber-shot camera lens + CB technology, PLAYSTATION certification, while equipped with a Walkman music player, Z or the use of carbon fiber shell: VAIO Z. August debut (originally planned to debut in September)
This feels like joke to me as a SE fan all these years. But if Sony changed it that much, it will put a huge smile upon my face. Z sounds like supernatural to my likes (if not huge) oled+2gb ram+walkman+cybershot+carbon shell? dis i woke up in 2020? i hope cybershot won't be just an app, because nowadays walkman and playstation are based in apps, no big hardware changes to get the name. |

Btw, who is the retard in S(E) that let mobile review continue with this shit? They are permitted to bash a flagship that is not even released. Soon the news will spread to all tech-sites and everyone will be commenting on how ugly it is bla bla. BAD BAD PR! |

Actually, Engadget had some common sense this time round:
" Internally, Mobile-review says ICS is running off a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which all sounds healthy enough -- but since the build quality looks a bit suspect and we don't know for sure that this is a final production handset, we'll wait for IFA fever to paint a fuller picture."

I'm very curious what u13x has to say about the pics in comparisment with the real thing. On the other hand:
Just got new sets of images for Hayabusa and Mint, and I clearly can say Mint is no where good looking as Hayabusa. Because of how its battery is not removable, Sony decides to go some route I don't like. Mint is also thicker, and IMO, it looks like a fatter Arc S. Looks like someone fat trying to hold it in. No way in hell would I get the Mint over Hayabusa for just LTE. No way.
He said that the mint is thicker, but according to the specs the Mint isn't. So I don't know if u13x is talking about the same device.
