Just popped over to GSMA to see what was shaking and found this article interesting:
http://www.gsmarena.com/price[....]and_x10_mini_pro-news-1524.php
Particularly the mention of sub 50 Euro prices for subbed devices. I want t stay with Orange and take the Black one, so from free sounds promising to me...
Wow Arne, thanks for that cool video, it's my fave one in ages. Really looking forward to this phone.. Made me think though, does anyone know what if any games will be pre-installed or will this depend largely on network and market rather than SE?

Extremely happy to see the AT&T unit out and about. Now this freezes me between the Nexus One and the X10.

No, it doesn't. Just repeat after me, I'm going to get an X10, I'm going to get X10, I'm going to get X10 .... Do this each morning infront of a mirror and you should be fine. |

hi
i'm very interested by this phone but I have a question:
what's the real spec of the RAM of this phone (256Mb, 348Mb, 384Mb+128Mb)?
I want an evolutive phone and the RAM is very important for me.
thanks a lot |

Hey all.
There is one thing I'm not too sure about Timescape, does it sync with your phone contacts facebook or just facebook in general. If it does the latter then I'm sure it will struggle as I live on FB, with over 900 contacts it's going to crawl, Plus the same with Twitter!
Just found out.....
When she is looking at the feeds on Timescape, a friend posts something on Facebook and it comes up with add to contacts. So this to me suggests that it updates your phone with people who are not even in your contacts on your phone. Interesting |

Nice! Maybe the X10a (if that's what they're going to call it) will be here sooner than I thought! It sure looked like a retail package to me, so that's pretty awesome. Thanks for posting the video! |

The test goes on.

The test of Sony Ericsson's android mobile Xperia X10 proceeds. Yesterday I was navigting in a car with Wisepilot, which is included as a free trial viersion on Sony Ericsson mobiles, and with Google maps.
It worked like a charm with no issues. X10 is surprisingly fast in finding satelites and position. Sony Ericsson have added short cuts on the screen from where gps, wifi bluetooth and sound can be turned on and off.
Here multitasking is an advantage. While I had other stuff on top of the screen, wisepilot was running in the background checking speed cameras and other things. I do not have a car charger that fits X10, but it was no problem running X10 for a couple of hours with lot of stuff running on it and still have half of the battery left.
In the evening I was on a concert at Liseberghallen. X10 did the job equally good as IPhone usually does. Took photos and sent them directly with Facebook and Twitter. Wrote on both places and did some film shooting too. X10 works better as a camera than IPhone, not only because of more megapixels and sharper pictures, but also because it has a dedicated camera button.
It is a bit easier for me to write on my IPhone, but I think that is more of a habit. The spell checker in Android is smarter and with the phone lying horizontally there is good space for the fingers. This contribution is entirely written with X10. And here are some photos from the Kent concert. Some of them have been processed with Photoshop mobile, which recently was released for Android. Even on the concert multitasking was an advantage. I had Tweetcaster, Facebook, Photoshop mobile and the camera active simultaneously and switched between them fast by holding down the home button, in which case all open programs are shown.
