Hi everybody.from kerala.Regular visitor since jun 06.Big question "WHERE IS BROTHER SPARTAN ?"
Nowadays speed is v low but able to connect directly.No need 2 dial g*tel live 02(2nd acc.)
also unable to down. Anythin bigger than 3Mb.How to get rid of this in mob?
Also plz suggest a gud download manager 4 s60 v2 (nokia 6681) |

Yeah hac... It seems gtel has targeted northern india region... but y v??  Anyways d url is wap.indiatimes.com,in fact all sites i mentioned can b viewed by similar sort of url. 1 mre thng...i can access websites from google search bt not wapsites,so unable to dwnld anythg, also i cannot access both websites n wapsites(other than wat i mentioned in my previous post) from my phone browser directly. Is there intention is to bar downloads w/o paying n let us surf?? When i try to access any wap site it says.. 'ur network settings do not allow u to request this url' Do other people also get same/similar error? |

@anshj thnx 4 d url  bdw i knw all othrs exept indiatimes. So u wana access wapsites. Jst make a bukmark of wapsilon.com through google n type wapsite add. In wapsilon add. Bar. Bt rmembr u cnt dwnlod n entr in chatsite frm here. For yahoo mail acces ėt thru unipeak.com .
Dat reply (ur ntwrk stngs...,) is for all nrthan innocent ppls  so u cnt open ne site directly... Wait n wath wat hppn ahead??

thanx buddy... i ll try this wapsilon. But no use even of indiatimes yaar,i found tht 4 ech n evry link u need 2 pay. Anyways... jst let me knw if theres any way to solve ths prob or if it automatically gets solved 4 u. |

As far as i knw abt gtel then 99 % fre gprs mst b restart again aftr sme time... May b a couple of weeks .. Bt this time i hav 1 % doubt abt ėt?? for u knwldge gtel dnt cre much abt fre gprs.. It is somewy beneficial 4 dem...

Guys i am posting this message from airtel live's google search . I was able to access all the search content of google on mobile. I think gtel guys blocked pc access. All the mobile search's are coducted on google gateway on mobile . So if we find that we will access it on pc |

Yes.. u can access contents of google search but only websites n not wapsites so wont b able to download anythng on ur cell.. atleast thts d case with me.
Hey hac.. i get the same error even if i try to open any wapsite trough wapsilon n cannot open unipeak itslf. |

@anshj bt m able to open sm of wapsites thruh wapsilon. Nt trid so mch bt which wapurl i typd dat was opend flwlesly.. Thruh unipeak u cn acces yahomail bt rmembr only ėn ur mobile...

NOP is now working gr8 and the speed is awesome even during peak hours. and it works on pc browsers with no tricks. only down thing is that now Airtel has put download file size limit to 1 mb. cant seem to bypass this even via download managers. but for me all sites and unlimited downloads work on live apn although its very slow.

i am not sure bout that but the proxy for nop and live are the same and belong to the same subnet. u can notice it via tracert. anyway, now nop has a new ip which is x.x.x.164 |

@jing dude as u said dat livn n nop is frm same subnet den may b u knw bt i hav to clear dat in subnetng u cnt implement diff types of security On a single access-lėst (wat u can do n wat u cnt do) of sam subnet. Then y nop usrs cn surf n live users nt. Morovr sme stat live usr cn othr stats cnt??
1 mor thng dat wat u thnk gtl implemen wat thng for restrictng dwnlod in nop upto 1mb?
