Hmmm, wonder why they don't just say its Dragontrail. Now, most preview videos names it as a "fingerprint magnet glass".

God damn, seem like they wont release ZL in Sweden. I really really want the white one. And about the bad contrast ratio and whatever that many reviewers complain about, I wonder if its because of the wallpaper. Its very gray and they maybe mistake it for black.
Look at 3.23, a lot better with different wallpaper

You don`t need to wait that long as Android buttons are always on the display on every video so far and they are surounded by deep blacks wich clearly shows that the default theme on Yuga and Odin is grayish. But you are right, many reviewers are confused by the wallpaper.
I could agree that viewing angles aren`t so good as HTC One X for example, but colors on Z and ZL are more saturated than ever before on Sony device.

I'm interested in seeing what the Dogo and HuaShan turn out like. I probably won't be able to afford the Z once I've gotten my new laptop, so I'll probably go for the 4/4.3 option.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks has them all listed but it doesn't seem to have information about 2500 mhz.

I've noticed that too. And I completely agree. And tech bloggers/journalists are probably the most ignorant in their field compared to journalists in other fields, who tend to be pretty ignorant too. All the credentials you need to influence millions is a big site. No other CV required. Just love iPhone and Samsung, regard them as infallible and write whatever about anything else.

alright guys.. let's keep this thread to rumors.. Z/ZL stuff in their respective threads.

SO.. since the flagship is out.. i'm guessing MWC won't have much as far as WOW factor? at least for me, since I typically get the flagship devices. At the moment, I'm choosing to wait for the 2H flagship. who else is with me!?

so.. what are the rumors for the 2H flagship at the moment? how bout a refresher to get this thread back in the right direction..

Maiaramdan & Away, I have personal quams with you but really we ALL should be a little more mature than "RIP company" sayings on Esato. its just way too childish, along with "patented by me" (beyond all the whining of patent wars by manufacturers). Very few of us now the profits, ready cash on hand, R&D developments of the entire product line of any of these companies - and those of us that actually do read quarterly results in depth still do more research. Let's grow beyond this mindless fanboyism of "RIP said company" and properly stake our fanism with the dollars in our pockets (like your pre-order) and properly assess merits of how competition brings out the best in any company like Sony. Not too long ago none of us would've seen the financial troubles of SonyEricsson partnership and they as a collaboration are done. So lets get specific to the topic in the thread and not be childish ... Esato and those of us (all) members are better than that.

Cheers.

This is a great product(s) by Sony (XZ & XZL) and I look forward to testing one in person. I've already placed an order for the Xperia TL as I'm partial to that design and features - I'm done with iOS for 1.5yrs now (I'm a former Mac user so at the time it suited MY needs). I'll compare the ZL/Z vs Nexus 4 vs Optimus G2 (announcement pending) before I make another purchase. When that occurs I'll be giving the Xperia TL to my 14yr son.
