So, avmaxfan, what about "your phone", when is it going to be announced?
I think your credibility is quite low right now.
Or can you now admit that you were totally wrong?

I am relieved because Anzu has a 12 MP camera. Because of that, I still have hope that they will use the new 16.4 camera module in their highend phone. |

A. Its not safe to overclock a phone CPU
B. Even when overclocked to 1.4 ghz it will still be left in the dust by next gen dual cores and beaten easily by even the single core Samsung hummingbird processor
@BrittBastard
I still stand by the specs I mentioned for the next SE flagship. CLIARO will have those specs I mentioned. Not ANZU.
Anzu is NOT the supposed device I was talking about as is clear now.
So wait till official announcement before judging my or others credibility.
@Topic
How many think will have a 2011 flagship with specs that do not match up to the top phones TODAY. Has same CPU as HTC Desire Z (800mhz), LCD screen same as X10 but with multi touch and 16 million colors, same design with some minor tweaks ?

Fine, but you also said that it would be announced in november and now december?
A release for an eventual Cliaro would not be before Q3-Q4 2011 and then it's to late for SE's flagship. In my opinion.

My friend announcements/launch like anything else in this world can be delayed for some reason.
At the time I received the info on Cliaro it was planned for a November second week announcement. Now obviously it was not announced. So yup announcement is delayed.
And the 2011 flagship will be "launched" not announced before Q3 2011

Seems your specs don't completely match with what Eldar mentioned ?
12mp cam as against 8mp u mentioned
LCD screen as against X LED
800mhz CPU against 1 ghz
Oh and in these pics its clear the screen is NOT LED thanks to the greyish blacks.

I said it was MSM7230 most likely at 1GHz since that is the max speed manufacturers can clock it to. Maybe if you read what Eldar wrote, you would notice that his camera isnt working properly but it is an 8mpx sensor. The screen spec I posted are also correct. The whole specs I posted are correct.

Then why does Eldar mention it is a normal LCD ? And we can clearly make out in the pics that it is NOT OLED. It has greyish blacks like any other normal TFT LCD.
And what has the camera not working anything to do with an 8mp camera ? gave him the phone and told him everything about the phone and 6 other phones for 2011, why will he be misinformed about what camera it has?

whats all the fuss with dual core processors? What could you possible need to do on your PHONE that needs this type of processing power?
Or are all you people complaining just worried about your image, and want the latest tech, even though you wont make full use of it... I think so.
may/may not offer dual core next yr, but seriously, as long as the software is written properly, and it runs efficiently, I dont really see the need for dual core. What, you doing advanced photoshop on your phone or something?
I had an x10, went to Galaxy S or a few months, now im back to an x10. One, it was cheaper, now and when I first bought it. And two, I prefer the x10 in terms of usability bla bla bla. The lag in the galaxy and touch wiz really peeved me off!
Even though the Galaxy (or any other device or that matter) has the better hardware, doesnt mean its a better phone does it? Especially if your not using it to its full potential. I much prefer a phone that runs as well as the hardware should allow it. The galaxy s, imho does not provide that. Even with a lag fix installed.
Full hd videos, full hd recording, what ever else comes with dual core, personal preference really, I have no NEED for it.

That's the irony of the tech world isn't it?
A lot of people have cars with 300+ horsepower and capable of doing 250 kmph +. How many of us really use the full power of our cars ? Same with PCs, we have people buying quad core processors and using it for web browsing and other light applications.
In the hardware world its not about what you actually need but what you MIGHT NEED. Its all about being better than the competition.
Nothing about actual requirement.

It even says it feels cheaper than the X10 - it certainly looks it.

See, the difference between me and you is that I post up spec of existing phones. You dont have to believe me, you dont have to trust me, I dont care. If you think my specs are wrong, then you may do so.

so the device eldar is now reviewing,may have nothing to do with the final device...!!!!First of all,it doesn't run on the final software,the camera doesn't work properly and we know nothing about the price....It's obvious that sony ericsson will not target the high-end market with this device....because it hardly justifies the price....i believe that sony ericsson will release it with a price of less than 500euros |
