This is really starting to freak me out...Every time i scan for devices recently, i pick up the name "Mikko" ...This is in different suburbs, places... So i'm either picking up my stalker's phone, or perhaps Mikko is just a popular nickname in Melbourne, aus... Is anybody else picking up the same person? |

No i am not picking that up (Greensborough).
I had a similar prroblem A motorola a1000 kept on showing up and whenever i tried to send to it it would not go through. What you need to do is go to the list of devices in rance and wait for the phone to finish searching and then it will delete it if it is not in range |

@stirlo
Try to reboot your phone. Sometimes my T610 keeps a phone name that I have bluejacked in the list, even if its out of range. |

It does that on purpose, so that you dont have to keep searching for it before being able to send something.
It always keeps the last phone you connected to at the top of the list - its called memory !

yeah, this isn't just the list, though...
I've found Mikko in prahran, hawthorn, even Healsville (melbourne people will know where i'm talking about)
And with multiple phones as well...
It's not just the list, he keeps showing up anyway!
next time i see the name, i'll make a note of the MAC address, and see if it is actually the same phone....

I was talking to T-Grr about the list.
Maybe the reason you keep finding the same name is because its something well known, such as a local soccer players name, a favourite musician etc.
People tend to name their Bluetooth phones after their idols.

Try shutting off your phone, take the batt. out for two min. then reinsert and switch on. Try again. Mikko should then be gone. If not start running.

the phone name will appear everytime you do a search because it's paired with your handset. if you goto the bluetooth device menu you'll see a list of devices you've paired/added to your phone.

Yeah I've blue jacked!
For over a year I've been sending messages and pics on the daily commute with my P900 and with the visable name Transport Police.
At last some brave fellow sent me a pic of a WPC in a state of undress. Giving is nice but it's just as good to receive.
