Duo you say! anyway I got a sony digi cam so I already have the 128mb memory stick!
the P800 only support the Duo version of the memory stick, it aint possible to put the normal 'longer' memory stick into the P800, unless you want to make a quick trip to SE service center....
cheers! |

the P800 uses a smaller version of the memory stick, called memory stick duo.........but the package comes with a adaptor for you to use as normal memory stick........
Then what is the adaptor for? |

adaptor is for you to put the DUO into it and you can thus use it in a device equipped with a regular sized Memory stick..........meaning to say, you can use the Duo(with adaptor) for your digicam with regular memory slot but not vice versa.....
cheers!

Hi dairin, orang3 and all members,
I am back, I have been disappeared for the past 3 months as orang3 is right, I have been out posting in India, as I have been travelled states to states to promote my company products. And as you know, It is difficult to access internet only in big city or big companies than they have these facilities. I have been lost touch with SE for a long time also. Now I am back, I have been browsing our forum to see what is happening. I am glad you all still did'nt forget me. Especially dairin, orang3 MFB.... Thank you for still remembering me.It is nice to see that a lot of new members signed in.
BTW, a Happy New year to all of you. To many things intend to talk to you all.
Okay, I have contacted SE last week. There is a little bad news on the message alert tone sw. They yet could not fully rectify the problem yet, because the sw will always make the phone hang easily, so, they are still trying so I guess not to have high hope.
I have been reading on the P800 news from you all. But just found out from SE the phone is still under testing, that's the reason they are not launching yet. For those parallel import set
it is not stable at the time being. It may occur some problems. It is up to you all whether you all intend to buy it now or waiting for SE on their official launching.

hi! nice to see u ard, i am new to the forum although i hav been accessing it since mid 2001, i agree that import sets are unstable, but if they are luanched in the country intended for,it would mean that they are already tested over there, but nvrtheless official luanch in spore comes with warranty unlike my set, thank goodness its still okie for a week or so.
the web browser works great altough there are some sites which the browser does not support for viewing, but at least can access this site perfectly

CorvusDronn>- It is nice to hear your feed back. However it is still belonging to SE products. Only thing is all phones maufacturers have to go for testing here and comply with our IDA specifications. Hopefully
nothing goes wrong on your phone in the near future, or else you have to pay for a bomb when you send to our SE Service Centre for checking or repairing if your phone does not carry a local warranty.
Cheers!
