1080p was made up by XPERIAX10 blog, then spread by avmaxfan who further suggested the Anzu has OMAP 4440 and that it was confirmed by his "secret sources".
Simple: Anzu doesn't have 1080p. |

what about the price of sony ericsson anzu and release date??
I believe that if it launches before march 2011 and with a price lower than 550eur,it can be successfull because it solves all the problems the x10 has(multitouch,outdated OS,small ram) plus it offers a better processor,bigger and better screen,hdmi-out and better speced camera...so overall good specs,it will all depend on the pricing of the device! |

i dont agree with this at all. low-mid range phones do sell very well to the masses. high end phones only sell well to the rich and people in the tech know how. IPhone is an anomaly in this pattern, idiots buy it thinking its the best thing in the world, and because a monkey could use it. there is so much diversity in android phone market that the general non tech minded masses will definitely be buying low-mid end phones. about 70% of my friends who have android phones have a low-mid range phone, they think its the best thing in the world, because they dont understand the technical specs behind it and why my galaxy S is far superior to their HTC wildfire, they just see a "cool android phone".
also the fact that  seem to be bringing out so many "new" low-mid range phones would prove that they do indeed sell and make profit. Ofcourse i'm not writing off that wont have a real flagship phone hiding away, but to this date have we really seen any proof of any?

really gonna say low-mid range phones dont sell?? come on man. Anzu is a good update, but it can only be considered "flagship" if it comes out last week, not 4-6 months down the line, then it'll just be a mid-end phone.

Agree with nikos, I could see myself buying an anzu if the price is right. The specs are good, except dual core it has most of the goodies. Still wondering what a pulse LED is. Any ideas?

Most likely just the same thing as the LED used in X10.
