i dont have the crash problem with the previous 2.441 camdriver... probably i didnt test it that hard though... so aksd, this new 2.441 was fixed from all kind of bug? will try it later on...  |

Camera driver vertion 2.441 analysis:
1. seq_ping=$s0 01 $s1 01;
For this chip must be another ping commad.
2. seq_set_prop_0=$s0 %0 $-0 0a $b0 00 5 3 06 02 00 01 $w0 06 #CMD_END;
$b0 00 5 3 - is unknown operation with internal register
Why do you use this command? It don't have any effect on photo quality.
3. And main mistake in this:
jpeg_qtable_selector_0=$s2 00 $m0 3;
jpeg_qtable_selector_1=$s2 01 $m0 3;
It's explaining thus:
$s2 00 // Set reg 2 to 00
$m0 3 // copy reg 3 into reg 0
In original driver using another registers and another bits.
I have no idea...

All commands you have pointed out were present in the original 5.3 cmadriver extracted from R1CA002 K750i software. I have no idea what those commands do in property 0 ie exposure I changed the 09 to 0a which influences the exposure.
Please reserch the orginal driver before posting nonsense. Also If you would like to know what those values do I suggest e-mailing sony ericcson and maybe they would send us all a detailed explanation of their driver  |

what is NC????...because e man i use your 3.1 cam driver but first one,you know....the normal one...whereis full with sharpeness:D....i don't use the another 3.1 where is less contrast |

From what? R1CA002 software?
I haven't seen such firmware, can you attach this driver?
Here is camdriver0.dat from the R1CA021_EMEA1 firmware.
I compared with it.

tested the 5.5b driver, it's a bit blue-ish and dark, will stick with 2.441..
@aksd : hope you didn't skip this one, can you adjust the contrast in 2.441 or maybe the next-gen esato camera driver, as i use 2.441 much on indoor area, and the indoor pic is quite under-exposed, it's a bit annoying that i have to set the exposure higher everytime i'm going to take some pic...thanks

I have had no crashing with the 2.441 driver, I doubt your crashing problems are due solely to the 2.441 driver.

Yesterday I tested 3.1nc by e_erzan and my phone crashed several times. I didn't have such problems with k750 firmware, but I flashed to w800 and the camera started acting strange. In addition to crashing, it failed to take a picture a few times. And everytime I close the camera lid, I get a message saying "Voice commands not recorded, please record..." or "Say name after the tone".
Do you have any idea why? Maybe some buffer size problems?
Now I'm testing 2.441 and I haven't had problems yet, but I'll test more.
P.S. My post count is 69 lol
