@britri,
I've isolated the GPRS signal bar disappearing issue.
It seems that it only happens here in Makati. It doesn't happen in QC.
Weird.
What I do is just to go to Data Comms and set preferred service to GSM only then back to GSM and GPRS to get the GPRS bar back.
Another weird thing happened also last week -- I left my T610 charging all night and when I woke up, it was still charging! nge! I removed the charger and connected it again after a few minutes. It was still charging (only 1 bar blinking). I did some chores and after abt 2 hrs, it was still charging! weird! So I just removed the battery for a few minutes. Tried charging it overnight and it's back to normal. whew!
anyone else experienced this?
thanks! |

Ako rin... after observing my signal bars on the way to work (muntikan na akong bumanketa in the process...)
I lose SMART's signal when I enter C5 exit ramp going to Ft. Boni. My signal drops to 1 bar and I lose GPRS. I regain full signal after leaving that ramp but still no GPRS signal bar. I have to reset or toggle flightmode to force the phone to regain the GPRS signal.
I never had this problem when I was still with GLOBE.
Funny thing is that after switching to ADDICT mobile, I did not immediately get this problem.
It only started about two weeks ago. Furthermore, it only happens in the morning! I pass by the same route going home at night but the incident does not occur anymore.
I think this might be a service provider issue.
Anyway, we might get more responses if we move this topic to a different thread, like "Negative and Positive comments to Globe Smart Sun Services (PH)".
