Just realised that some missed calls are NOT shown on the Call List. Some highlights are even blank. It's on R1GB. Don't know on R1JC.
BTW, I begin worrying my old EROM R3A011, as a mate's phone was dead last week when he changed SIM Card. Can't imagine how my days will be if my K800i had to be sent to SESC for a fix. Hope not.

I have the same issue (missed calls, placed calls, received calls go missing from the list), and it only happened after an upgrade to R1GB. And the bug where the phone turns off the display even when you are using it is still there. Usually happens when typing an sms, the display just turns black. You must hit the back key to wake it. This is happening on both my K800 and K610 with R1GB (and the SUES version prior to this one).
I have to say, so far, the firmware on the k800 is probably the worst for critical bugs in all the SE phones I've had.

Old EROM bug:
I think few ppl has said that they can revive dead phone by shorting the connector (or internal batt). So I think it is not the EROM itself that is corrupt but it is just, lets say, stuck. The EROM itself is still OK but few instruction (bug) may make it stuck. For example maybe EROM is pointing to wrong memory address, etc.
And this can be fixed by two ways. 1. By rewrite EROM again (so the EROM will start the boot sequence from the beginning) and 2. By shorting the batt connector (int Batt) and force the EROM to somehow restart (and also start the boot sequence from the beginning). As you see both have the same final consequences (restart EROM instruction sequence).
Well that is just a theory. Can anyone within SE (if any) confirm this? |

R1JC002 has been very stable so far. Just got a freeze just now, but it was my own mistake that I pressed the menu key in Opera Mini too abruptly, too rapidly..then my phone froze..pressed the Power button longer..then blank. Tried to turn it on, no response. I just thought that my old R3A011 EROM was damaged..took out the battery for 5 seconds, put it back, and...voila, Alhamdulillah..thanks God, it's ON just normally. Despite the old EROM, mine is just perfect.. |

Hey girlfriend glad the sex change finally took hold. You're becoming more of a woman everyday. Your boyfriend must be proud. You still complaining because I showed everyone how stupid you are? Anyway, my comments were directed to ~DC:UK~ and not you. Too bad you can't get over yourself, and when it comes to knowing things, I truly know more then you.
