Hhmmm... something that might be missing from P series... where is the jog-dial ?
If this will be the next P series, why would SE remove the jog-dial from P series? I think a jog-dial is crucial for FO (Flip Opened) usage.
Any thoughts?

Thats cos they have placed a 5way button on the flip. Apparently more useful than the JD (notttt). Mannn these guys are jus goin downhill. At this rate, i wouldnt be surprised if they get wiped off the Cellphone market. |

Also, Why would they go from the P910i outer keypad back to the P900 keys. I think its another photoshop image.

Rumour has is that Hermione will split length-wise down the middle so that it can be opened 'like a book' to reveal a full qwerty keyboard and another screen.
This was supposed to be announced in September so I am not surprised this has leeked out prematurely.
I wouldn't be too hasty to judge this already as this is only a photoshopped image.
2 down 1 to go. The only one we have not seen now is 'Sakura' which may not be a smartphone but will have some brilliant specifications. |

@goldenface,
I highly doubt that the Hermione will have a commie like keyboard. It would be stupid for a device to have full keyboard and NO WIFI....3G still hasnt been adopted in mostttt countried and with an average shelf-life of each device down to almost 9-12 months, i highly doubt it.

Fake or not, I had some time in my hands, so I cleaned up the image and placed a uiq 3.0 flip closed in there.
The UIQ colors are horrible, but I believe these are only a prototype UIQ 3.0 designs.
Have fun

Out of interest why are these photo's any more believable than previous images?...after all anybody with a copy of photoshop or any other graphics package could edit a slide show picture, add a few well known rumoured specs and pass it off as official?! Sorry to be a killjoy....just a bit sceptical about it all!...That said I have no doubt the successor to the P910i will be announced before the Smartphoneshow in October as being the main sponsor SE won't be wanting their thunder stolen off them by the other exhibitors and their products...ie. Nokia and the their N Series devices.
BTW, completely irrelevant but the original image showed the wrong specs for the Nokia N70...it's the N90 that has the Carl Zeiss lens.

I only photoshoped the original image.
If I were you, I would take the case a bit further and investigate Orange Switzerland!
They are the ones that leaked Hermione in the press conference.

Another clue:
Orage has been requesting some sites to remove the leaked Hermione image, saying that it has been published by error.

Sorry, I didn't mean this as a dig at your image...I was referring to the original on the slideshow...in refence to Orange Switzerland...is interesting if that is the case and is legit...still not convinced...remember the Motorola product portfolio leak of a couple of years back when an entire yearly roadmap was leaked...v few of those ever materialized in the designs that were shown...that said I may be wrong in which case I'll be eating humble pie!....hoping I'm not though as would like 3G replace that is smaller, keeps the jog dial, poss Wifi, V2 Bluetooth, USB2 and def uses UIQ3 - ditch the keyboard though!...use a bluetooth one instead!... |

It could have WiFi but no 1 here knows about it. Also Orange will selling it first then later others will have it. |

The image of the phone with the UIQ 3.0 by_LAU_ looks more like a series 60 device than a UIQ one.
I actually like the thumbboard as it's convenient to use on the go. I just hope they make it with Wifi and have Blackberry already installed in the software. Other than that, a tad smaller would be nice as well. |
