wwhoaaa got my z800i, best phone ive ever owned!!!
it doesnt have the strips even though expansys stock has it as linear silver the orginal SE barcode on the box lists it as titanium silver. Another thing the charger is 2 pin based plug so I had to use an extension cable to insert it weird and no its not an import model (box says ENG, NL, FRA) |

It looks like Three will have it in stores shortly, and for all those looking for the settings to use your Z800 on the look for my Z1010 thread and replace the Z1010 with Z800 and thats it the Three Browser now works fine and you can download content as well.

is it really that good? i'm about to get a k750 in a few months and reading all the posts i think i'm having 2nd thoughts. what do you guys think? how does it compare to the k750? |

K750i, in my view (i have owned both) is slightly better, nicer camera and smaller/lighter.

when i bough a phone from expansys.com i phoned them to say i dont have a 3 pin charger(uk) they appologised & sent me one free of charge.

finally got a z800i !
would like to upgrade firmware at some point, anyone know which service cable i can use ? i've seen dss-25 and dcc-11 cables mentioned in places but don't really know if either of them work with the z800i. |

via SEUS ( Sony Ericsson Update Site ) you just use the usb cable .. ( the one that included in the kit ) ... from devinche ... & etc .... you need to use a t28 usb cable ..
where did you get it from ??!??!?!!

got the z800i from hong kong curtesy of ebay, cost was £257 inc fedex delivery. basically got tired of waiting for the likes of expansys and pixmania to drop their prices.

i went into phones for you yesterday asked about the z800i was told it didnt exsist so the manager came over and said it didnt exsist then they even went online to the sonyericsson website where it apeared as i knew it would only to be told it still was an se phone and must be a mistake on the se web site anyone else had these problems |

been trying most of the week to get the correct o2 active settings to access 3g mutimedia content, downloads etc for my z800i and got a similar "phone doesnt exist" response from o2 customer services !!
