i have just set up my p900 to access free GPRS and all is good.
however, has any1 managed to set up there PC so that they can access the internet through GPRS using the p900 as a modem? i can set up the modem to use my contract SIM and GPRS account, but when i try with these free settings it conects but i can not load any web pages.
has any1 had any luck with this? |

make sure the port numbers are 8080 and then disconnect and re-connect and it should work. also if your using opera, make sure there are no active connections and let opera prompt you for the connection, then choose the free one you have created and all should work. should be fine for the built in browser tho.

so it is possible. wonder why i can't get it to work - i'll have another go tonight.
can you think of any reason why i can seem to connect but cannot load any web pages?
what are your conection settings on your computer? actually, what OS are you using? i'm using ME, any1 got it working with that? |

If you can connect but not load pages then what is the error message you get? In order to use any app you have to set its proxy settings up to the free proxy. So with your internet browser you need to go to the connection settings options and make sure you select the option to use a http proxy and include the right ip address and port.

right, if your connected but nothing loads up youll need to goto the connection settings and enable proxy. type 193.113.200.195 and use port 8080 and click ok.
Then type google.com in your address bar and get browsin |
