same as uk. had my first motorbike legaly at 15 and was an instructor by the time i was 17. bit of extra cash earnt while at collage.

Wow do you mean a heavy motorbike?? or just a 50cc one?? i had a 50cc one since i was 15 (i got my license legally when i was 16). I want to drive a heavy motorbike someday

oh we dont have any laws based on displacement or horsies under the hood, its whateveer's street legal except for some mopeds or something.

Legal drinking age here is for some (mix)drinks 16 and for strong alcoholic drinks 18. |

50cc until you are 17 then any size motorbike. They've changed it since I passed mine to any size whatsoever |

I will keep it with 50 cc for a while though my bike goes faster than that is legal (45 km an hour is legal here, which is waaaaaay to slow)  A lot of people (especially guys) buy a 50 cc motorbike and put 70cc underneath it |

yeah. they de restrict them to get a higher top speed. very easy to do. takes about an hour or 2.
legal age for car over here in uk is 17 as a learner.

our surface street limit is at lowest 35 mph (~70 km/h) and on large surface streets 50 mph (~100 kmh), and on the freeway 70 mph (~150 kmh).
But me and my friend go over 100 mph plenty of times when we're crusiing around:-D
(thats about ~220 kmh?, i think)

30mph is the law here and 70mph on motorways.
Have had my car doing 142mph so far. Standard top speed is 118mph. |

@kimcheeboi: but then your friends bike isn't 50cc. 50cc is limited to 45kilometres. But heavy motorbikes can go as fast as the car limits.
My 50cc bike goes about 90 kilometres an hour |
