just two simple questions about this great program.

-what is "send note"?

-how can i save the contacts under the "local" folder? (this folder is meant for that, isn't it?)

thanx!

hi float,
i've been using your software for archiving my SMS messages and i find it very useful and simple.
Mind asking if it is possible to save archived messages to text files or word? opening the archive file give me hex data...
If you have time to modfy your program, that would be great....
Many thanks...

Hello there chungagoring. Am not float (obviously ), but I'll try to answer your questions.
-what is "send note"?
allows you to post notes to your T68 phone.
-how can i save the contacts under the "local" folder? (this folder is meant for that, isn't it?)
local folder feature is not yet available for use

in Esato, SEARCH is your best friend)

Just wondering if anyone knows of a workaround to the high com port problem? My bluetooth drivers in fact don't support being set to less than com10 (com13 on my machine, but it looks like the logic was just for com10). Pretty silly, eh? Well, I'm still stuck having to use MobileAgent over IR unless anyone has any suggestions for me. Many thanks!

Hello Float,

Thanks for the great program.
I use W2K, T68i and a Toshiba BT card (in reality from Digianswer)
It works great.
Any way to get informed on upgrades and/or new features of your Prog ?

Good work, Congratulations

Hi!

I'm using Ericsson R380s.

I can download my contacts from the SIM card, but not from the phone.
I can receive new SMS and send with no problem. But if I receive an SMS when not plugged in to my computer, they will stay in the phone.
FMA wont detect them.

Is there a way to disable the notification when a new SMS arrives? Maybe there is one, but its not showing any options for shutting it off in my workstation.

Is there also a way to delete SMS on my phone from FMA?

Thanks! Love the program!

@Inferis
welcome to esato!

(i cant assure you that all of these may work, the r380 (as far as i know) has not been tested with FMA yet.)

to detect the new messages stored in the phone (whilst not connected to the PC) just hit the refresh button to update the cache file used by FMA to temporarily store the SMs.

there's no feature for disabling new SM notifications yet.

to delete messages, just hit CTRL+DEL keys or right-click on the highlighted message(s) and select "delete" from the pop-up menu.

Hi guys, anybody here using Mobile Agent on win98Se? According to float's website, you have to download a script engine to make it work under win98SE. I can't seem to make it work even if I downloaded the components described in his website. The components dont actually contain script files..please advise, thanks in advance

Hi!

Thanks for the warm welcoming!

GOwin:

I know to erase the SMS and Iīm really familiar with the Windoze-F5-feature...
I wanted to use FMA to erase the SMS from my cell too! Not only from FMA.

My problems is:

When I hit F5, nothing happens! If I received new SMS before connect my PC, they wonīt show up in the FMA!
Btw... If i hit F5 while in the Inbox, all unread SMS disapear...

I canīt download adressbook from phone memory, from SIM it works excellent!

i keep on getting this error message: '$OK' is not a valid integer value.

i can't get the messages stored in my phone's memory. i tried deleting the inbox cache file, and still got the same error.

any idea what's causing it?
