anyone using a 3G phone and I-Mode?
Do you know any way of downloading applications such as Google Maps, Opera Mini etc ??
I just been trying out a K610I and not happy ....think I'll be giving it to my mum soon
anyone have a true SE version of this phone? |

O2 Ireland's K610im
I've just debranded my K610im with Wotanservers SW and it is now a fully functioning K610i with loads of extra SW .....it is so much better ....landscape view on the internet browser and RSS feeds ......WOW !!!!!!
Got it unlocked first by telling O2 I was going to Taiwan ...they have no coverage there and must give you the unlocking code to allow you to use another SIM.
Give it a go ....but you will get cramp in your thumb !! |

Yeah, use the same reason to get my phones unlocked! Only meteor played stuborn once, so I asked to be transferred to their legal department... after 4 minutes on hold I got an sms with unlock-code  (seriously, they didn't even got back on the line??!!!)
but...meteor suck anyways; it's as if some 1950's family-business folks had travelled through time and after a 24hr crash course in "The Future 101" they decided to sell some of dem phone-t'ingies!!!

Yes there is still some life on this island !
RE: Meteor ( or Orange in the UK !!!) their phones are still very expensive ...and the owners probably still drive red ford cortinas !
**K610i (without M) is incredible so much extra SW
I may buy a few more and upgrade them, apparently it is also possible to upgrade to K618 |

But - I take it you're with o2? Tried that mobile napster thing? Since I don't "like" contracts, I left o2 when I realised that vodafone's mobile internet charges are A FIFTH of o2's! Still curious about the napster-thing. I assume you can't move songs to other devices (AND play them, I mean?)???? Answer, Ireland... Hello, Ireland...your points, please?!
