Just spoke to the SONY guys here and checked the Z3 out..nice touches of improvement from the Z2..but not really worth upgrading from a Z2 though(unless you are rich  ).Anyway he said Z3C inquiries are very very good and that the Z1c sold really well and they were short supplied and had to turn away many customers back then.
Sony has a great weapon here.The Compact line is even more important than their flagship because its a beast of a phone with no great competition..SONY NEEDS to market this thing!

Spark NZ have announced a carrier exclusive for the Z3 & Z3 Compact here in NZ. What a coup! The reason is that the carriers here all get excited about the iphone or galaxy but they ignore the mass market in the world and forget the likes of HTC, Sony & LG.
Preorders are from 17th October and in stores 28th October!! |

I am going to pick up a new white Z3C tomorrow morning  THIS time Sony seems to have gotten much better than previous models!! NO sarcastic comments please I am exchanging my Lumia 735 to pay an extra £220 more on top I must be insane

Happy for you,have the white too,looks very nice,but I still think the green one looks better,look at that one first. |

I do hate to feed the monkey but check out this on GSMarena. Z3C vs iPhone 6 vs GS5 scaled down to 8mp for fairness to the iPhone but check out the detail on the roof in the picture with the boat. The Z3C clearly has more detail (although more noise) than both especially when compared to the iPhone 6.

^The iP6 can't compete with sharpness, both the Z3C and the S5 are sharper. Some parts the Z3C, some the S5. Color reproduction, though, both iP6 and the Z3C are spot on while the S5 is again oversaturated.

i've been examining several samples from the z3 and z3c. it seems the z3c camera is not similar to the z3's. it's usually noisier and blurry. that's what i've been noticing in almost all samples posted online.
but i think something unusual is happening with gsmarena's photo comparison tool.
look:
the z3 suddenly has the sharpest and most pleasant photo samples.

OK,got a minty one I was expecting to open the box & smell fresh mint Anyway got it this morning from Carphone store & had a bad time  They don't like selling new phones to market sim free on limited stock. Two stores said no & I became annoyed. Went to another store in another part of Birmingham where I know someone who works there & he done it fine. Pays to know someone  The first guy in the one store was arrogant and rude 
The phone I have checked and tested everything & all is as it should be,works great & no camera issues this time  Please no more sarcastic comments I really just want to enjoy this phone now as I am tired of changing these handsets I only have my self to blame Sony were always my old favourites but I always had complaints before but I can say this device is way way better than Z1,Z2 If anything goes wrong I shall be silent
