I'm still undecided whether I should go for the plunge and take it of my arc. Despite being careful the sheet has a few scratches on it (I've read that the glass underneath is actually good and resistant to scratches but the sheet is not).
If I took it off and applied a screen protector would this work as effectively? Also I find the screen currently resists touch on occasion making swiping extremely difficult and unpleasant as its not smooth, but rather very resistive... I'm guessing this is down the toe sheet...

Well,it happened to me when I first had the x10. I scratched the screen really easily but then I found out about the sheet on top. After removing it I never had any scratches again

Yeah, same with my, the protector gets really scratched on my Arc. I don't know why SE even put it on if the glass doesn't scratch.
My C905's screen was also mineral and that was amazing, never had a single scratch. |

Just seen some benchmarks on a Chinese site. Xperia S outperforms all the dual core competition in most benchmarks including Galaxy S II, the Nexus S and the HTC phones. Really pleased by the performance numbers !!! |

True. At least till Q3 Xperia S seems like the best Android phone to buy and also the best value IMO. Cheaper than Galaxy S II and better
Let's hope the Hayabusa and Mint continue the legacy
