I'm not sure that's the case with their PAYG phones? Would happy to be told otherwise though!  |

No O2 are locked on pay & go not sure about contract though.

Sorry if this question is asked before, i preferred to ask than browsing through all pages.
Few days back, i had a chance to play with this lovely phone, x8. It does connect to my bluetooth stereo headset, ds980. It has mind blowing audio quality.  But why x8 cannot send any file over bluetooth ? Yes, it can receive files from other phone over bluetooth.
Its like a selfish phone.  It only believes in taking, taking and taking. When it comes to giving, it refuses.

I believe this is because its Android version. Were you able to check whether it was running the 1.6 or 2.1?

Yes, it is possible, but the 2.1 update for X8 won't be available until the end of this year as it looks right now.

Download the free "Bluetooth File Transfer" (by Medieval Software) from Android Market. It lets you browse your folders for any file(s) you want to send over Bluetooth. It also adds a "send via Bluetooth" shortcut to your photo album's "Send" menu.
