I feel like shouting or even suing or even kicking the crap out of the engineers who built the w910i just because they didnt solve this problem they mustve known about it before they manufactured it so this means that sony ericsson must have a solution but i also phoned them and told them my problem but they told me to go to update service so back to the fuukin drawing board i just dont get it nearly everyone has this phone and most are getting the same problem there must be a solution to solve this problem once and for all.
(Fuukin shuts down and then vibrates and red lgiht at the back comes on then few seconds later the phone turns on ??? damn it man i hate this problem)
if anyone has a solution to solve this then tell the whole world (first me lol) |

just wondering:
is there firmware updates that fix all the problems you guys seem to be having? (crashing/freezing)
and if there is updates,... do they work at all or have SE not actually done anything to fix the problem.
im thinking of buying this phone, and if theres a problem that can be fixed i will get it but if its cant/hasnt been fixed by now i wouldnt bother.
ill go with nokia 6500 slide [black version] if the glitches aren't fixed. |

most people are having this problem and also me, (the restarting bug) but i think until we find a solution to this problem for the w910i then no one should buy it on the other hand the bug only occurs when the phone is pushed to its limits... but other than this the phone is fantastic and i mean it i bought mine for £90 with 1gb m2 memory and charger (2nd hand ofcourse) but very good condition save bout £150 lol even the new ones i heard get the bug after a while or pushing them above there limits but only occur sometimes
at the end of the day there are better phones than the w910i like w960i etc... |

what to you mean by pushed to its limits?
how many tasks can be run before it screws up?
or do you mean playing music and sending a text/mms is pushing it?
ill mostly be browsing/messaging and calling with some listening to music, will that make it crash? |

well lets put it this way if you have the music player up and then minimize it then play again with music player on it may restart or if ur lucky it wont lol but mine is second hand so it restarts once i play a game lol but if its brand new then it probably will not restart but i suggest u stay on the safe side and wait until there is a solution for this problem |

I have verified that there is a new firmware out for the W910's that are unbranded... I'll get back to you with any changes...

Ok finally I got SEUS to update my swedish "Kent"-branded W910i to the latest firmware.
I can't say the phone is much faster though, or anything else besides the media manager looking a little different.
This phone is still the slowest/laggiest thing I've put my hands on |

Not yet, I have found no differences as such. Alough I am pretty sure the icons have changed when you go to file manager.

I don't know I am not a mind reader. If you just try it with SEUS maybe you might get lucky?
