Yeah, Copy and Paste is the way to do it... Bit more long winded and therefore annoying, but not a bug. |

Probably a little bug:
When I hang up a phone call, the call timer resets, so I can see only 00:00. During the call the timer is ok.
Can you confirm this behaviour? |

it counts correctly during the call but for the time it is displayed from when the call ends until the calling screen dissapears it just shows 00:00

.......but I also have the problem with the sms timestamps. everytime I receive an sms or if i send one to myself from rogers website, it always display the time 4 hours behind.
I tried setting my time 4 hours early and switch my city to azores (apparently they are 4 hours ahead of eastern time), the sms timestamps will come in alright (but of course I want to display my time zone as Eastern time instead of Azores time)
Anyone have any input on this?
I have a feeling that this is due to wrong "Country Code" imbedded in the ROM. My P1i has a UK (44) country code (I chanced upon noticing this thru Swiss Manager Pro - click on the system tab and then click on IMIE).
Does anyone know how to change the country code? |

My theory is that the country code in smp is being taken fm the installed language, but I can't check as UK English is the only language installed on mine.
Maybe Lisa can shed some light on this...

hello again guys.
um.. just want to mention this
i had songs on my k750i. all were at 160kbps.
They sounded good in normal mode (equalizer) but i changed it manually to make it sound better.
Now i transfered those same songs from my k750i to my p1i. they sound horrible!!! certain songs sound differently (different bass, low voices etc...)
and when i went to the equalizer....i can't change it manuall!!!!!!
Any help on how toi make the songs sound good?

the timestamp thing is a mix of network and phone i think..
while i was roaming to the US 2 weeks ok all my sms timestamps were right... on cingular and tmobile... but when i got back to canada... my rogers timestamps were messed up again..
can language packs be installed? i think i've seen it on the SE site before?

I checked US English and the same thing still happened to me in term of sms timestamp. And, yeah, the phone call timer also happened in my P1i, all the sudden, the smartphone doesnt seem so smart anymore.. |

Just tested this myself... When you end the call the call timer resets to 00.00... but when the calling screen dissapears the last call time (and the red phone icon for ending a call) is shown in the space where the date normally is for a few seconds... So it looks fine to me... |

I don't encounter the SMS timing bug. If it helps, I've set my timing to Singapore and using UK English language. Thus, I doubt it has anything to do with the language pack in use... |

A little clarification:
My theory about the language pack was that it might have been the reason for SMP indicating the country code as 44. I did not mean that it could be related with the sms timestamp thing.
Anyway, the fact that he is using US English (and not UK) has already disproved it

Yes, you are right. I've never noticed the red phone icon at the end of the call
I would prefer if the resetted timer is not sowhn anyway, but this is a really little bug for me..
Thanks

Is anyone else getting less than average reception from their P1i? I get a full compliment of bars in my house on the same network but using my old Nokia. On the P1i I get 2 bars! |
