Hi Friends,
I changed my fone from K750i to W580i, with a g8 expectation of sound quality. But while selecting Mega Bass, the beats are cut-off at high volume.
I dont know why!!!. Friends please share your thoughts on this... |

hi, did anyone notice that the sound of the speaker when you are chatting on the phone is a bit bassy, blury and not clear in general? Or is it just my W580 ?
I was used with my old k700i which had a very clear speaker sound, and now that im using the w580 seems that i can't understand clearly what people are saying due to the lack of clarity and treble!

I had my grey/blue sim free w580 only a few days before the keys started cracking
I got this from a certain well known store here in the UK and they was going to charge me about £40 to have it sent away to be repaired but I've now decided to get the w960 when it eventually reaches these shores  which is good news for my gf cause she loves this lil fone specially the lights, apparently it looks pretty lol and I'll be a lil sad to see it go but I'll have a w960 
All in all this is a great lil walkman fone but am just moving on... |

yes...sound quality is not clear when attending the call....I thought it was 4 me only:-(....also mega bass mode is big disappointing... |

Anand try 2 mod your sound drivers with those of w880i. They are the best in walkman series so far ....
Even I have my w610i modded k550i producing thumbing bass with w880i sound drivers !!!!

On clicking the above link my virus checker went mad!!! However it seemed to get rid of it and still managed to download the file. What do you do with it once downloaded though? Does it actually increase the maximum volume of the W580i? |

Heya folks, got this phone today to replace my old w810i, and found out that you can't play or pause with the keypad locked. Is there any settings or firmware or anything I can change to make this possible? |

I have only 3 keys left that arent cracked and my fone is about 3wks old i'm goin to send it back once i've got the w960 |

well, my second unit has been fine-except a bit of a loose screen corner-no cracked keys yet.

its just when you close the slider, auto keylock function.
you can unlock it when you press on the softkey and follow the instruction show on the screen.
I have no complain for it...as i found this good...because you are having key
exposed even you have the slider closed.
even Samsung U600 is having a similar function which lock the key
when you close the slider....but lucky W580 didn't look all the key on the sliding half when you close it during you are making a call...samsung did that...for me Samsung will need a firm ware tweak. Not W580 |
