I tried out the latest releases of both aksd and mongoose's drivers. The hissing is gone, but I don't like the sound. I noticed that the bass is lower than the original R1N driver. Could it be? Or I've finally blown my earphones?

About the EQ settings,

The max eq u can set with phone is 8, where the bar go red
By changing it through Settings.xml u can set it to 12+ ( Not sure of the limt)

Megabass settings as viewed on settings.xml

band_1>14
band_2>0
band_3>0
band_4>0
band_5>3

as i can see that, must be the 1st bar (bass) is set to 14 & last one (treble) set to 3.........
but not sure what is the number, is it dot at the bar coz i count 1st bar got 17 dot........

so this mean we can change megabass default setting, is it ????

Hi mongoose thanks for the farfield _play.But honestly that driver increased the volume of the speaker but it sounded like there is music playing under a tunnel
Example like if u use a software and there are different presets according to enviroment and u press hall it sounds like that.
Otherwise its cool thanks for it But if u could tware it some more so we can hear all the instruments playing as well .

Thanks again

Cheers

Hi, I had problem with volume of ear speaker ("call" speaker), very quite in car for example. I think many people have this problem. I found the right file - "handset_0_call.apf" and then mod them:

- backup and then delete "handset_0_call.apf" (exist always) and delete "handset_0_call.aec" (if exists) from \ifs\settings\acoustic\
- copy over modded "handset_0_call.apf" from the folder to \ifs\settings\acoustic\
http://rapidshare.de/files/29377288/handset_0_call.apf.html

Loudness is cool & sound acceptable, problem is solved for me

So we delete both handset_0_call.apf & handset_0_call.aec together OR
we delete the handset_0_call.apf ONLY, and handset_0_call.aec is optional?

Need to clear the air, detailed and specific instructions must be given to prevent any screw ups....
