I had a quick look on the Wotan Server site, they've got firmware for the W850, posted an update on 25th Sept!

TBH, I'm not surprised it's passed alot of people by, it's not even shown on the homepage for the site!

I just happened to check the forum and it was listed!

I would've picked one up today had I known earlier on!

Well if you want a minimally branded phone, go with O2, but they will only be getting it in black as far as I know. Plus it's only going to be £240 sim-free!

Oh, and I'm also going to try and make some Mac and Vista inspired themes for the W850 for release later on... This is going to be my first attempt so don't laugh!

Any ideas quickly on where and how to host them?

Is this branded externally too? I think £240 for this phone is cheap, I reckon it'll be a huge hit.

My experience with O2 is that the start-up and branded, plus a O2 theme and instead of the Internet Services icon is a O2 icon... That's about it...

i must say i dont like the retail white. The yellow/orange screen border and walkman signs have ruined it. I liked the proto versions colouring better, think im going to have to get black.

look here for white:

and black:

From the pics I posted, you can see the Vodafone along the bottom edge of the handset. I didn't spot any further external branding.

Re the simfree price, that's not bad at all!
