Do you get the error for all the files or only for very large files?

Configuration info for T310 mobiles
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(1) Go to Menu then select Connect.
(2) Select Data comm. then Data accounts.
(3) Select Add account? then GPRS data. Enter details for the following parameters:
Name: Airtel1
APN: airtelfun.com
User ID: (blank)
Password: (blank)
Save it.
(4) Repeat STEP (3) with name Airtel2
(5) Go back to Menu then select WAP services.
(6) Select Options then WAP profile. Select Add profile? then enter details for the following parameters:
Name: Airtel1
Connect using: Airtel1
IP address: 100.1.200.99
Save it and select it as the active profile.
(7) Repeat STEP(6) with name Airtel2 , but do not select it.
(8) Go to the Advanced menu( for both profiles)
(9) Select Change homepage then enter details for the following
parameters:
Name: AirtelLive
Address: http://live.airtelworld.com
(10) Now create a dial-up connection on your PC and dial to *99***1#.
(11) Once connected , access any site on your mobile. Ignore the error
message. Keep the phone down and start using the PC.

Airtel is becoming smart now. Iam not able to download files which are more than 2MB. Does anyone experiencing this problem? |

Wat error does is show alan?I downloading a movie fun wit dick and jane of which 3 mb is done but download speed is very low at night. Will tryin diff ip or port or apn increase speed? |

@blu, I`m from tamil nadu. Im using airtelfun.com & 100.1.200.9:8080. as my phone is GPRS class 6 i dont get speeds beyond 6 or 7 KBps(max). how much u get? and whats your phone?

Speed depends on a lot of factors,the newer nokias from 6630 onwards are class 10 it seems.So they r the fastest. I have heard that sharp phones have class 12 gprs.

Now I activated my airtel gprs. But i found that there was a problem in modem drive. Now I reinstalled drive. My connection can't dial *99***2#, *99***1# can only dialed by my set with AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com" command (automatic generated). i tried to dial *99***2# but its never connected. *99***1# connected with 460.8 connection speed. i m useing 100.1.200.99 /8080 port in mobile and in IE 6>internet option>connection >setting> proxy server> 100.1.200.99/8080 setting it can't open webpage if i use 100.1.200.16/8080 setting its open welcome to jboss site very fast. at present i use 100.1.200.16 without port setting. its open webpages but connection singnal blink every time I mean to say that speed is very slow like 1kbps or low how i use fast as 115 kbps. I cant surf and download any thing.
One more thing that your third method working very well but its for mobile not for pc. plese tell me how surf and download fast in pc. You are only my hope because its only your who give us that tricks to free surfing. |

I'm using 6630 and it's giving average of 5-6KB at daytime and 10-12KB at late night and morning. So I suggest u to buy 6630 as it's cheapest smartphone in Nokia. |
