right folks...
ive got a few avi files.... as you do 
that are encoded as xvid, how do i get them to work on QT?
atm i have to use mplayer, which is fine but i cant export the file as something else.
any idea how i watch xvids on QT?

had to install a divx codec, then install an xvid one...

please jools help me asap, somehow i turned on the voice on my mac and now it says everything I do cliick on type, its so annoying I can't figure out how to turn it off or what it is.

sorted, its in a app called voice over utility, i have no idea how I turned it on, nut it was so annoying

ok, for some reason my address book has lost all my contacts, not really sure why. When I resync with my phone only one syncs....
Please help
shit f**k bolloks, its also deleted all my phone contacts. f**k
now this is even more important, I have lost every single one of my contacts. Pless jools help me

seems I lost everything which is a really f**king annoying I have no back ups and it wiped my phoen clean even though the rules are set to overide pc not phone

Hmm best ask jools i looked on the apple site but there didnt seem to be much support for address book although they do have forums on there, may be worth a try?

omg this is a fu*king joke, its actually deleted all my contact info, not just for my address book, but for all my emails to. I now have no stored addreses.

Dunno if this will help but...
Perhaps one of the "caches" got messed up... go to Home > Library > Caches and backup then delete everything in the folder called com.apple.AddressBook.
If that doesn't help, Quit Address Book, go to Home > Library > Application Support and then drag the folder called AddressBook to your Desktop. Then resync again. If your address database ("AddressBook.data") is corrupted, this may get you a fresh copy...
Its always advisable, every so often, to choose "Back up Address Book" from the "File" menu in Address Book. |
