havent read the specs but it appears SE are following Nokia's lead with the exchangeable covers format, this indicates lack of ingenuity on SE's part, they need to start leading from the front instead of following from the back if they want to win this race. the competition are already 10 steps ahead, omitting BT from the entry level handset is risky.

The initial launch price will be $US 220, ( I am quite sure, hey i was right bout IRDA right ? ) it will go down in about 2 months.... Problem is what the heck is taking them soo long ? By the time they finally release it, i would have saved more than enough money 2 buy the T300+MCA25. I MIGHT just forget it and get the Nokia 3650 which has video capabilities and bluetooth. The covers 4 T300 is GOOD. N'UF said. Youths want it ... !!

I forgot to mention that the memory of the T300 will be dynamic ! This means, that if u dont use the phone book func. much or any other, than u can use the extra memory for other stuff such as games and whatever ! !! Neat huh?

I think the T300 is a really nice phone. If you don't need bluetooth it's a great phone. Also you shouldn't say that it's an ugly phone by just looking at some pics. I thought the T68i was ugly when I first saw pics of it, but when I say it in real life I thought it was/is beautiful. You shouldn't judge the looks until you've actually seen one.
The games look really nice as well, and you can download more.
That said I will not change my T68 for the T300, partly because I use bluetooth a lot.

Does it means the T300 memory is independent?
What I mean is the T300 memory isn't allocated only to a particular part of the phone's phonbook or other functions?
Yeah, I also agree that you cant judge a phone by its pic but the actual looks! When I first saw the T300, I though it was ugly (not even comparable to my R600 design) But now I got another view of this buget and powerful phone!
Anyway, what do you guys think of th R600 design compared ot T300? |

Yup, that's what i meant, it is independent. Not assigned to a specific function. R600 looks nice but i dont like the battery cover. I like the clip on style...

It would be logical 4 people who dont have a T68 ! But pity no BT....cannot play hands while seated far apart ... What a waste ...

There's a review on Esato on the T300, guys! The reviewer ends it all by saying "Mobile Streams predicts that the T300 will be a big success ".
A comment on the review and some of the replies..
There's a POP Email client included for sending VGA pictures from the camera as email attachment, the same as in T68i. The reviewer missed that and the downloadable games.
It's not a competitor to T68 nor the P800 so it makes sense not buying a T300 if you have a T68. The screen is identical (101x80) to the T68i and that's ok with me, still using a greyscale phone.
Bluetooth, nothing for me but I must admit that the new BT car handsfree from SE, that automatically transfers an ongoing phone call to the car audio system when you enter the car, is Star Trek to me. That could make me buy a BT phone but that's about it.
The reviews I read so far, are generally positive and that assures me. (I always read the reviews before buying electronic gadgets.)

If there's a phone that can save SE's ass it's the T300....
Don't worry about the bad styling; the entire front covers (not just panels) are exchangeable. I have a suspicion that  purposely "uglified" the original covers to create demand for its to-be-announced aftermarket covers (hopefully better looking). Factor in the 3rd-party covers and you've got the bad styling all covered (excuse the pun  ).
Now if they could just speed it up they've got a winner in their hands!
