I just noticed this thread

I absoloutely love my S710. The only other reason for me to get another SE phone, will be if the same form factor came out with a 3MP cam.

What ignorance for someone to say that it's not for folks that party.

So you are saying if one owns a S700 or a P910, one is classified as a geek?

If you need a phone to make you look hip, I wonder who's the geek?

Continue your ignorance while I enjoy my big screen and beautiful display. BTW, the best screen on any SE phone in many ways.

For those of you hung up on 1.3MP V.S 2.0MP. (See below)

From my wonderful S710

@goldenface, the higher mah rating means the battery can take more charge, which means it can supply the same power output as a smaller batt, but over a longer time period.

The phones power use doesn't change depending on the battery mah - power use is the same regardless of the type of battery. So a higher mah batt will take longer to discharge.

congrats santo!

Good choice. I'd have gone the K750 but that's me. The S700i is different and very classy looking (but a bit fat) I mostly don't like the swivel, if it was like the V80 I'd be more interested..

But you did the right thing, got user feedback, and decided the s700 is for you. I don't think you'll regret such a well thought out decision ..

When S700 came out in NZ it was $1499, now it's $649; my K700i cost $799 (now selling at $439). I want the W800i but if the S7 continues to drop in price I may not be able to resist. I tried a S7 dummy phone at a Vodafone stand over the weekend and liked it alot.
It's no bigger overall than the K700i and it swivels in the right direction for right handers. Felt good to use. I dont much like the styling of the S600, I think it looks too chunky.

Now right handed hammers I can use fine...

I had a play of one for a few days, and I didn't like it. But I'm a pedantic little bugger I admit it's not really that bad.

and I have a S700i too, would never return to smaller screens! It's a great phone, no problems at all. For viewing pictures only the p-series do better, am I right?
