Ive had soo much trouble trying to work this out, but....
How does the 8800 open? Is it a button/s like the 8910 or is it a manual slide like the sl55, or is it something else?

hi jensy,
if you are holding the phone from the bottom, you push the top half of the phone up manually. just needs a little push and slides upwards
