What I find odd is that incoming messages are displayed in the nice small font, yet when writing the large font is used. I wonder if it's something that can be set by the theme?

I've given up looking for this option now.

Although im 99% certain i saw the option in the menu, i'll have to say i must have been mistaken because its simply not there anymore.

Yeah I just got my upgrade through today and the one thing I don't like about the phone is the font size when writing texts. You can barely fit any words onto the screen! Really annoying actually (in a petty way!!).

Guys, that feature you're talking about "Text Size" while writing an SMS not only affects how YOU view it...but how your SMS is sent and viewed by the RECEIVER! That's not a display option, that's an EMS feature.

AFAIK, from the T610 onwards, no option was given to alter the font display size on the phones.

Not true, as far as i remember this option is given both in K700i and S700i.

has anyone contacted SE about this? the sooner people contact them and complain, the more chance itll get sorted.

once several firmwares are out and they fix all the serious bugs, the chances of getting a feature like this added will be far smaller as they wont be working on the firmwares as much anymore.

i wouldnt mind as much but the screen is hardly the biggest anyway but it does have adecent resolution so theres no excuse not to have text sizes (small medium large with large being the current text size, and this option should apply to recieved text as well as typing texts).

"Hello,

Is it possible to change the display text size when composing sms's. This feature was included on the K700i, but seems to be missing on this phone.
"

to which i got this ever so usefull reply

"Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Centre.

With regards to your enquiry, unfortunately this option is not available on the Sony Ericsson K750i handset.
primus down

I really wish SE would sort this out.

I want to send texts in the same size font as my Inbox.

Anyone figure out the 'Primus Down' bit yet?

I too am missing this feature - on my Siemens M65, I could mark text, copy and paste from SMSes to my phone book, vica-versa etc. The clipboard was great. I also much prefer the smaller text.

Is there anywhere that you can make feature requests for SE, a bit like a Bugzilla for their firmware?

Thanks,
Matt

The bigger font size. It happens also in Nokia 6230i and newer models of Samsung. Think every vendor is going nuts or what.. [addsig]
