Well im not happy with the standbye crash bug! i dont need to be missing calls or taking my battery out in the street to reboot my phone i just wish firmware was more reliable or if its branding that causes it,that more testing was done i mean this one is something that should not have escaped the factory really, but its a great little handset just not one i can use every 11 hours when it crashes in standbye it seems lol

O2 branded im afraid got it with o2 online as i was at the end of a years contact and due an upgrade. I have seen one report form a guy with an unbranded handset that has this problem but cant say what the ratio is,branding does seem to cause more grief though.

yeah i love the k750i too and i amnt exactly new to sony ericssons but with the exception of the p900 this is the best phone i have ever had, and the p900 is a different kind of thing altogether. but for me i would prefer to have the k750i over the p900 purely because it has the capabilities to be a better mp3 player than p900 ever could(due to memory) and also when i had the p900 i went completely off photo taking because lets face it the camera was utter crap, but i am definately enjoying the k750i, thank god its not branded to vodafone like my v800 i got the only one my local cpwh had and luckily was unbranded

Low ear-piece volume is one thing I hate about this phone. SE should really fix such kind of basic issues before shipping the phone.

Other than this I am completely satisfied and no standby crashes for me in last one week.

i find it really strange that people have had stand-by crashes etc and some haven't. I've had mine for a week and everything is fine. I'm on 02 online. I also haven't noticed the poor sound from the earpiece - I'm sure it's the same as my k700 (although i did get the k700 in the first week of release and never did a firmware upgrade so maybe thats why).

One thing I'm really paranoid about is the battery - it charges really fast, just like the k700. I have just written a couple of texts, taken about 4mins worth of calls on it and played with the camera for about 5 mins and the battery is down to 98%. It was full to start with...I'm hoping that the battery IS a hell of a lot better than the k700 or i'll be annoyed!!

I've had the phone now since yesterday morning and happy except for the crashing whilst in standby -supposedly fixable vai firmware later- so not too bothered. I was a Nokia user before and the only thing I miss is calendar function for birthdays. I see u can set recurrent birthday reminders but only at 9am on the actual b'day - not for say a couple a days before so's u can go and get the pressie/card. anyonethink this could be tweaked in a later firmware?

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the included headphones; I think they're great.
Nokia should really take a leaf out of Sony Ericsson's book, after all, Nokia make you buy the headphones seperately (Well they did when I owned a Nokia... maybe they were just missing) and they're not all that brilliant either. Sony Ericsson's headphones are excellent in my opinion, nice to see that they don't bundle some rubbish headphones with the K750i.

I'm delighted with my K750i - no problems at all (it's unbranded for reference), and the camera is truly superb.

One thing I would say in Nokia's defence is that both Nokia and now supply personal handsfree kits with all handsets that have a radio (in order for you to be able to use the full functionality. Hence, for example, the T610 not shipping with one, but the K700i did. Actually, Nokia have many more handsets with inbuilt radio and consequently supply most of them with phf kits.

The exception to this is some smartphones, i.e. P910i and most PPC devices, which alsol ship with headphones (either because they're too bulky to hold to your ear, or because of the inbuilt media players)

Well, my T610 had a handsfree in the box, but I think it was a temporary gift
