Some nice points there, Super G. I'm really getting sick of all this anti-nokia crap! Like you say, a little objectivity wouldn't hurt....

I really would just want a phone that's useful and fun to use. Small, color screen, be compatible with a PDA with Bluetooth or WiFi, and at least have JAVA by now (And of course Triband).
The P800 and Nokia 7650 does not fall in that category for me. It's large, both look like bricks, and carrying it in my pocket is out of the question with that screen.
I have a PDA (Which is far better than the P800), and I have a Digital Camera (Which is far better than both phones digital cameras), which I can connect to my PDA and transfer images without problems via my T68i.

Oh no. Nobody prevents you to run a videoclip on your 7650 today (MPEG4), after having downloaded your applications. It's video download as you can do it on your PC today: you first download the file, then you play it.
3G might (at least there's a big hype about it) allow real-time video streaming on your phone, but for this, you need a reasonable bit rate, and some buffering in your mobile.
You can already do real-time audio streaming with GPRS today (Fortunately!!!, it's voice ) so we just miss a few bps to get picture too. EDGE could bring this |

What is so stange about it? One minute long, MPEG-4 encoded ,video with 160x128 resolution takes less than 400 kB. You can even record a video clip with 7650, http://www.hantro.com/july.htm. |

SUPER G please compare the 7650 with the P800 not the T68. If you wanT68 with the upcoming 6610. Dont compare how many pics you could store on the T68 with the 7650. |

Comparing is a good thing...
But 1st of all I live in Europe (4 years behind Japan and 2 before the US) and this is the first thing to point out.
Second is: in my opinion it is useless to compare phones between themselves... Everyone should compare phones to what he or she expects them to perform.
I like the idea behind the P800 as a HUB for mobile com, which allows me to perform many features very well everywhere. But in my mind it has to be part of a "network" of devices such as notebook, digital camera, ecc.
This network has to be done according to what you need.
Personally I don't want a phone with integratet camera and 4096 colours such as the Nokia, I prefer to have my small t68i and, when I need it, add the functionalities of the MCA-20.
I think, but this is just my opinion, that this Nokia phone doesn't bring anything knew on the market.
P800 will, a real PDA phone which, represents the best possible way to combine those two devices. The idea behind the keyboard is very good compared to the Sliding one in Nokias.
I don't care about who produces the models, I want them to perform what I want to.
There is no "best" phone, just "most suitable to me"

@babo:
Well many have compared 7650 vs T68+MCA-20. I went a bit further... Nothing wrong with that. Today, these two are the most comparable devices on the market.
I agree the comparison is maybe not very fair as 7650 beats T68 anyway feature wise, but why also speculating on 7650 vs P800 when P800 is not even sold yet |

Ok video clip its possible via gprs in non real time. The big problem of nokia 7650 is the low ram space. I need minimum 32 mb. I dont know why the nokia lab put only 4mb :-(:-(
