Hello
Both Vodafone and BT WAP gateways will support higher limit than 3 Kb, you just have to have the right phone for the job - when the phone connects to the Gateway, they negotiate a limit - SE T68i is 3Kb through the browser.
Having had this conversation on another thread, no-one has yet written down a combination of firmware, access info, WAP gateway and content greater than 3 Kb that I have seen a T68i pull through.
The other issue of course is LDT - Large Data Transfer - the gateway does also need to support this ...

Correct me if I'm wrong and I may well be... if i use this IP address via Voda's wap gateway number i will only be charged at the Voda wap gateway rate ie 10p/minute or free with your inclusive minutes?? is this right or do you pay more?

T68i R2E006 accessing via Voda Wap gateway +447835900808 (GSM haven't tried it on GPRS yet) IP 194.237.106.73 have download for any screensaver/theme over 3kb eg poxarbirds 21kb.

ben I know you went into to great detail on this in the UK thread but I still don't understand. If the T68i browser has a 3kb limit how with this ip address can I now download themes/screensaves of 30kb using above??
