mine is always on and i get b/jacked all the time!!! i get vids pics even ringtones!!!! nokias are able to send data very fast a 180 kb item takes like 8 secs!!!..
its fun...
once at a restaurant i got like 5megs of pron sent to me!!!
hint: name yr b/tooth 'bluejack me please'...... if you desperate!!
came across that name and lotsa others the best was 'prince charming'!!!
or you could have 'get a life' thats what i used to use!!!

I have a pda and whatever I enter at "owner information" is showing up if my pda is found on bluetooth. I never had people send me files, but only anoying contact files

I turn bluetooth on only when needed, that is when using a headset while driving or doing file transfers.

Well, on my phone its always off. Except when i am in a restaurant searching for other devices with a evil looking contact ready to be sent!

Yeh I agree it does drain the battery more, but I charge mine almost every night so I don't mind... |

I leave mine on when in public places to get bluejacked.
